This place is located in Chinatown, inside the building that houses Regal theater & a side entrance to Capital One Arena (just passed Clyde's Restaurant). Chinatown metro is a block away. The pub serves sandwiches, fries and burgers. It was reworked after the previous restaurant closed. This is a perfect spot to visit before or after seeing a movie. (If you want a more upscale date, visit Clyde's) The space is also used for events. There is a dance floor, tables for board games and video games.

I visited District Bites (District E) several times. I've recently moved to the area, and can say without question, this establishment has made my transition a wonderful one. I am so happy to have a place like this to visit, eat, drink, and spend time with my new friends in the D.C. area. Not only is the food fantastic, but the service, ambiance, and overall vibe is simply second to none. District Bites, I am your number 1 fan. If there are no more supporters of this fine restaurant, it is because I am dead and gone. In particular, I would like to highlight the skills of Mr. Michael. He greets us warmly every time we come, and I can honestly say he is one of the reasons we keep returning. Whatever his role is, I sure hope he gets promoted and stays for a long, long time. Thank you Michael!!

We visited on a night that there were no games in the arena so there were very few guests. The servers were attentive and the noise level was actually quiet. Unfortunately, the food was not good. I ordered a burger that was mediocre and the fries were undercooked. My wife ordered a “Detroit” pizza with mushrooms and ricotta that was extremely salty. The only thing “Detroit” about it was a thick crust but it lacked the richness and melted cheese edges of a true Detroit style pizza.

Good vibe and overall good experience. Service needs some attention and focus as we had reservations but they weren't valued and had to go to the bar to put on our initial order.

Very good food and solid service. What makes this a 5-star is the convenient location inside the Capital One Arena complex and that it s by far the best place ( less crowded and overwhelmed) place to grab a bite before an event. Loved the turkey, bacon sandwich and the wings. Fries were done well and they had a good option n beer and wine. Prices were a little steep but worth it. Great staff ( server, bartender, and manager) should be complimented.

So convenient when going to Capital One. Very busy before the show so make reservation. The Beyond Burger was delicious as was the pizza. The staff was great and very helpful. The manager did everything possible to keep things moving so all could make the Showtime. Right outside the mall near the restaurant is a Clear entrance to the arena. Perfect set up!

We walked in there was no hosted in site.... So no type of greeting at all & no wait staff either... Just a young man by himself at the bar .. so we ask was there some one to seat us he said seat where ever you want so we did .... Just that We sat there for a few mins that asked can we can menu and something to drink. He came and took our order . brought back our drinks no straw. So we ask we brought the straws ... Then we walked over to the bar to place our order cool. We got carbcake sandwich, Buffalo wings, and chicken sandwich... With fries crab cake was horrible no type of seasoning just really buttery the butter was too much ... The chicken that was on the sandwich was okay could've been good but the old greese they fried it in its a no for me I would never visit again

The wings are good the crab soup is good the turkey club is good. The DJ played a variety of old school music while the band was getting ready to play. The atmosphere is great you get to see the basketball ? game on the big screen TV, or hockey games. It's a grown up crowd that's comes to District E which makes it a good place to come out and grab a bite and enjoy the entertainment.

As a bar that seems to be for hosting larger events, I was a bit disappointed that they couldn't seem to hold it all together. I came here for an event of about 250 people, and there were only about 5 servers working the place. Not a reflection of them, they were great and doing the best they could, but that meant service was super slow and everything, drinks and food were backed up. Our table got the nachos which had definitely been sitting out for a while. The chips were all soggy, the cheese was good but soupy?, and the chicken was very underwhelming and boring. My friend got a chicken sandwich and said she enjoyed it though. This bar I have been wanting to try but I want to give it another chance. The food menu does look pretty good (the rockfish sounds appetizing) so hoping my experience was a one off

We were there with dozens of other groups for a massive invitational trivia championship. The staff was swamped, but rose to the challenge. Moe, our waiter, was honest, kind, and worked very hard to serve us and the other teams. He did a great job and had a good attitude despite the huge crowd.

Service was terrible - had to flag down servers every time we needed something; forgot two entrees when our food was brought, multiple items were wrong when they were finally delivered (e.g., French fries are not breakfast potatoes). Most shocking thing was a vegan item was served with ground beef and when we notified the manager he tried to say it wasn't ground beef it was just how they spice the imitation food. Clearly a disconnect between front of house staff and the kitchen. Location and proximity to Cap One arena is great, food is ok when they get it right, but service was so bad I will not be coming back.

Service here is excellent. We had the Caesar salad, which is very good. I also really enjoyed the burger. Fries are so good when they're hot but could use a little more variety in seasoning. Drinks and entrees are a little bit pricey considering what the portion sizes are, but I wouldn't hesitate to stop by again.

We stopped in here after a game and there were staff everywhere. We walked right in, confused about if we sat ourselves because we missed the unattended hostess station. The host came up with the biggest attitude, while walking up who looked to be more managerial staff and sat us. The server who was working had two tables already and us. Plus another guest table came in right behind us (also missing the unattended hostess stand and got the same rude attitude) The server never said "Hi" looked in our direction or anything. Just took care of her three tables that were right next to us. We sat about 15 minutes seeing if she would take care of us (after she took care of the table that was seated after us) and we just left. Can't give you a review about the food but I can say there was a sour atmosphere, poor attitude and many staff members that could care less.

I came for lunch. Forgot to take a picture. Staff was courteous, friendly and helpful. Drinks, fabulous. Food...meh. I got the pizza. It's a deep dish - that should say everything. Crisp edges, soft middle. Ewww. Also, pepperoni was a bit spicy for my tastes but I'm a softy. The ambiance is the reason I'd return. And the prices. See ya next time.

Went to a Caps game and dropped by for a quick bite before the doors opened. The place is located right across from the arena so the location is great. They had a live band playing who were pretty good. The restaurant was clean and inviting. The service was great and the staff friendly and helpful. We ordered Detroit style pizza. I got the pepperoni and my son the mushroom. We both agreed that the pepperoni was delicious but the mushroom not so much. The mushrooms had a funny taste and we didn’t like the cheese. We will be back and try something else on the menu. The fried chicken sandwich and shrimp and grits looked good.
