Unreliable hours, shop is full of staff and no one can even open the door to tell me they’ve decided to close at 1030AM. No answer on phone, mailbox

$5.50 for yesterday’s stale cinnamon roll. It was not fresh, and I even suspect it was defrosted based on the texture and flavor.

On my way to the office, I passed by District Donut and thought it looked like a neat shop. Popped in and saw their offerings of the day. The worker was very friendly and even kept her cool when the customer before me got her undies in a bunch cause they didn't accept apple pay. Kudos to the worker. I decided to try the sweet potato pie donut since it was unique. It looked great, but after the first bite I was sorely disappointed that I spent almost $5 for it. For lack of a better description it was chewy or doughy. It didn't have that nice flaky melt in your mouth goodness that I've had at other shops. The sweet potato filling was okay. Sweeter than I would have liked. Maybe it was an off day, I chose the wrong flavor to try, or their donuts aren't my jam. YMMV

Woman at front got my order wrong several times in person. Extremely overpriced for grocery store donut. A dozen is a mind-blowing 37 dollars. Stay away and save your money. I would try the Duncan donuts next door.

OK- let's be clear- this is just a donut with random things put on it. Can do that at home for about half the price. Staff was great. We took them outside to eat. I have no idea why people think this is a good idea. Maybe goes better with alcohol than coffee? Anyway- absolutely no reason to return and waste more money there,

Key lime donut was good but way overpriced, no seating or publ facilities
Excellent customer service. Clean and welcoming environment. My boys had the funfetti and glazed donuts ? and I had a delicious cup of coffee ☕️

This place serves great donuts. However, beware of its 14 percent recovery fee. While it may have been posted somewhere, it still came as a shock.

Beware - district donut on 8th street is charging a 14% “recovery fee” on their already exorbitantly priced donuts. This borders on violating consumer protection laws, but because they have a tiny sign next to the register disclosing it, they get away with it. The donuts are great, but with the 14% up charge they aren’t worth it.

If you want a cold, damped donut that taste like it was made last week then this is your spot! It’s hit or miss with this place and lately I’ve been getting more misses. How can anyone serious about donuts serve some cold and hard. I’m done with this place

Delicious doughnuts! I love artisan doughnuts and these definitely fit the bill! I was worried that they would sell out on Sunday morning, so I placed my order the night before and I am so glad that I did because they only offer chocolate cinnamon rolls on the weekends and by the time I arrived for my pickup at 10:00, they were already sold out. I ordered both cinnamon rolls, the lemon poppyseed old fashioned, strawberry coconut, vanilla creme brûlée, vanilla bean glazed, and the cookie & cream doughnuts. They were all good, but the lemon poppyseed and chocolate cinnamon roll were my favorites.
