I LOVE the food at District Rico - the food is very high quality for price and packed full of flavor. I LIVE for the mac n cheese here - there’s something in it that’s so creamy and has a flavor other than cheese. They have rotating sides though so be aware it’s only on certain days. Loved this spot! The food was delicious and affordable, and the service was awesome: super nice crew with a chill vibe. Ordered the beef saltado and it was amazing! Highly recommend because this was like a unique version of loaded fries.

My only real gripe? They dared to toss a bag of whole baby carrots into the Brussels sprouts. Come on—chop those things up! 🥳
That aside, the Brussels sprouts themselves had great flavor. The balsamic glaze really popped, adding a tangy sweetness that paired well with the earthy sprouts. I do wish they had been roasted a bit longer, though—they were still a little too firm for my taste.
