Barbocoa was over salted. Food was inedible there was so much salt it made everything else salty even after removing it from the bowl.

Food is always delicious, but service at this location has not been great. We recently made a large delivery order on their website, but it was given to the wrong driver. We had to call to get the order remade which they did quickly, but we had to drive to pick it up ourselves, the store members were not very apologetic, and wouldn’t fulfill any request for even 1 small bag of comped chips.

Cool place. I think the chips could be more fresh tasting. Kinda stale to me. The bowl was good though and this place still offers a water cup so that's helpful to save money. Overall it's just under Chipotle in my opinion. The flavor to me just wasn't there. Still tasted good just not as good.

First time here. Partner (who is celiac) & I dined in about an hour before they closed so we weren't sure if they would be happy to see us... we were pleasantly surprised.

I had three chicken tacos, and she had a bowl. She let them know about her gluten allergy and they were already changing gloves before we had the chance to ask them to! You can mark your allergies on the order kiosk but we always like to double check. They were awesome, even this close to closing time.

Tacos were packed full and veggies tasted fresh. Everything was full of flavor, and tables were clean. Will definitely go back next time we're in DC!

Not sure what was going on with the staff behind the counter during my visit on 5/14/25 however, the individuals who were preparing the food around lunchtime appeared pretty annoyed from the moment I walked up to the counter; not sure what their problem was but the customer service was terrible besides the manager. I definitely know much better dining spots that would welcome my patronage. Plus the food is very average.

Visited the District Taco location on Pennsylvania Avenue, just west of 7th Street, with a group of sevwral blind customers. From what we could tell and asking patrons who could see, the self-service ordering kiosks at this location are completely inaccessible. There are no tactile controls, no audio output, no screen reader functionality, and no alternative accessible ordering method provided. Additionally, the drink dispensers rely on an inaccessible interface, further limiting independent access for blind and visually impaired customers.

Accessible self-service technology exists and is in use today — at ATMs, ticket vending machines, airport check-in kiosks, and point-of-sale terminals. It is both possible and reasonable to expect restaurants to provide systems that allow all customers to order and access services independently.

For one person this would be a problem. For a large group, it was unacceptable. In 2025, there is no excuse for excluding people from basic services in public establishments. The food was very good, but the lack of accessibility is a serious issue that needs immediate attention.
