My favorite place to get lunch near my office. The staff is friendly and delivers your food quickly. The lunch special costs about $13 and you get an appetizer and an entree. The curry puff is delicious and I've never had any complaints about the entrees.

It was okay. I won't be back, but the staff were nice. Appetizer was delicious but neither person in our party could finish our entrees. One was cold in the middle and the other tasted off. Guess it depends on what you order

The pad thai wasn't great. The egg was placed like an omlette on top, rather than being mixed it. Also, the noodles were very stringy and tasted stale. Additionally, just an FYI there is a $5 additional service fee on top of the food you order.

Food quality is so so as far as thai food goes. Flavoring was off, too salty (fried chicken dish) Tom Kha soup coconut milk was too thick and lack richness of flavors.

Do not be rude. Repeat after me... Do not be rude. Repeat after me... "do not...be... rude..." A dirty restaurant can be forgiven if the front reception is not rude and is welcoming. You have to see beyond your initial behavior----it will affect your business. Don't be rude!

Mom and Pop Thai restaurant located on the second floor of a walk-up. Friendly and efficient service (lots of teamwork). I ordered the lunch special priced a bit under $12 and was very satisfied with the taste and portions. For the price you get to choose an appetizer and entree from a tempting list (good luck deciding) Will definitely add this spot to my lunch dine-out rotation.

Lunch special was very tasty. I had shrimp roll. It was slightly cold but it was good. I would imagine it would be delicious hotter. Had pad see ew with shrimp. I was pleasantly surprised to have 4 nice sized shrimp in the dish. Flavor was very good and food was temperature hot and good.

What a lovely place, authentic food with a reasonable price in the heart of the city. Such a great place for great thai favorites for the world to savor. I love their lunch special and the variety it includes. Also their staff are too nice and the space is just incredible and efficient. I go here often and will come more now.

I came here for lunch during the work week. At 1pm the restaurant seemed about a quarter full and looked very clean. I placed my order with the lady at the cash register and it came out in less than 10 minutes. I got the Thai basil fried rice and spring rolls lunch combo for $13 without tax. I asked for it to be super spicy, and they delivered! Overall, a good experience but not an excellent one as customer service was curt. The food was good. I think the price and size for the lunch combo is reasonable for the DC downtown area. Please note that the website is incorrect - this is District Thai, and the linked website is DC Thai. The woman at the counter said it may be because of the new owner. Please update it!

Unbelievable portions, presentation and delicious food. I had a Crab fried rice with a large mound of crab. The shaved steak with broccoli was delicious with fresh tasty broccoli. A very understated place with a young cook that can really serve a delicious meal. It was 8:30 at night and we were the only two in the place. Evidently busy during the day.
