Filming at District Winery was fun. The venue's stunning views, with the nearby tree park in the middle of DC adding a touch of natural beauty, provided a romantic backdrop for capturing every moment of the wedding day. The waterfront setting was perfect for capturing the bridal party and celebration shots after the ceremony, with the shimmering water adding a touch of romance to the footage. The food was absolutely amazing and pleased both the couple and their guests with its flavors. As night fell, the venue transformed into a magical scene with all the outdoor lights aglow, creating a photogenic backdrop for capturing memories throughout the day. With its perfect blend of city vibes and waterfront charm, District Winery is truly a gem in the heart of DC. I highly recommend this venue to couples seeking a city vibe setting for their wedding day.

why agree to participate in a neighborhood event if you never intended to stay open for the entire duration of the event? this is not a rhetorical question. I would genuinely like to know why management is so inept at basic business practices.

They would not let me in because I was slightly late even though the tour started late. The tour proceeded to then go on an hour and a half, so I paid for nothing. When I arrived the tasting was only on their first wine and I would not have been interrupting the class. The tour is also not a tour, you just walk past two canisters.

If you go, you MUST do the Taste Experience, my brother and I enjoyed every sip! Our Sommelier did not disappoint!

District Winery does not disappoint for those either wanting to enjoy its specialty wines at its tasting bar or those afternoon and evening diners looking for a wonderful varied warm open atmosphere in the restaurant and bar area to enjoy varied cuisine, wines, cocktails and varied cheer. Portions are generous and very well presented, as well as staff are overall attentive and smiling. Great for singles just enjoying an evening out or for larger groups or families celebrating either something special or an event. There is always something for individuals to enjoy at District Winery!

Phenomenal brunch location. Go for the brunch smashburger if you're particularly hungry, and the "DIY Mimosas" are a slam dunk deal over buying them individually. This place has definitely been added to our "certified good places" list.

The food was undercooked and tasteless not to mention the service was poor. Definitely underwhelmed and disappointed.

Overall experience was great, look forward to returning and doing another wine tasting. Food was good, employees very friendly and knowledgeable of different wines. Only complaint I have is that when arriving no one knew details of the brunch and wine tour. Was we suppose to eat first or do the tour first. What time the wine tour/tasting started. What was included in the price of the brunch for two.

My wife & I had a blast. She’s a wine fanatic, and she even learned so much about wines than she knew. Highly recommend. Wine instructor was top notch as well!

Wonderful establishment for any and all to enjoy local wines and culinary experiences - great for any occasion, all age groups and friend and family get togethers. District Winery is a real gem in the woods of DC, meaning also a wonderful ambiance, wine and dining experiences that also are unique and tasteful that also don't break the bank. All staff are friendly, smiling and overall attentive,

The experience was just ok. It was our first time here and we came for a birthday celebration. We were asked at the beginning whose birthday it is but it was never referenced again during our meal. The waiter was average, told us nothing about the menu. Just took our drink and food order. I asked for water multiple times and he kept saying he would bring it. Never did. We ended up leaving because the experience wasn't great and stuck with apps and a glass of wine. Definitely not worth it.

My husband and I went to celebrate a belated Valentine's Day here and were blown away with the level of service, quality of food, and general atmosphere. As a Gluten Free person, I was so thankful and surprised that not only could they accommodate it for most dishes, there wasn't an up charge, like most places I've visited. Thank you again for a lovely experience and we look forward to doing it again!

Went during the valentine special they had going on and it was pretty nice. Drinks were okay but they kept them coming so no complaints here. The food was great, not too salty and not too bland. Overall, not a bad first expression and me and fiancé will be back to eat from their menu.

The restaurant is lovely, as is the staff. But the food was not as good as I expected. We ordered the sweet heat chicken and the crab aranchini to start. The crab app was quite good, but the chicken ( which our server said is their most-ordered item) was bland and lacking any real heat. Our entrees: the gnocchi, the risotto and the scallops. All were okay, but under seasoned and just average. This could be an amazing menu with adjustments, imo. We'll try DW again, as the location is spectacular. Fingers crossed!

It was great!! It was my husband's birthday and they gave him a BEAUTIFUL card. Everyone was kind and acknowledging. Overall, it was a 4.5 because some of the food was overcooked and dry.
