$4 for a latte and a nasty attitude. No smile no have a good day.. seems like an opportunity to train people for better customer service. You can go up the street and get a thank you with your latte at many of the other coffee shops... looking like your unappreciated and dismissive of your customers is a sure way of telling people how you could care less if they ever patronized your establishment.. so unless you hire people that can at least say good morning the competition has more to offer.. it's definitely not worth the $4 or less... to be treated as if you're a bother...
Attended Dog Tag Bakery yesterday evening with a colleague. It was excellent and they do an amazing job supporting military families.
The quality of the food and snacks is outstanding. The flatbread was good but the strawberry cheesecake and lemon & blueberry mini dessert was at another level.
Dog Tag Bakery is a cute bakery and cafe in the heart of Georgetown. They serve baked goods and sandwiches, along with good coffee. The bakery is owned and run by veterans with all proceeds going to support vets. It can be found right between Water Street and the Tow Path. Street parking is available and there’s also Georgetown Parking a block away.
Without question the best Arnold Palmer I’ve ever had. Perfectly balanced. My family ordered a selection of baked goods and raved about everything. Hesitant to leave such a great review because it feels like a hidden gem that is 2 blocks off the well-beaten path, but these folks have earned five stars.
The staff member who served me today (March 13,25) between 1:30 and 1:40 provided unfriendly service, making me feel as though I was inconveniencing her. She spoke in a noticeably moody tone. However, when a group of people arrived at the back of the kitchen, her demeanor changed, and she became noticeably more pleasant and friendly toward other customers. Additionally, the Matcha latte drink was poorly prepared, with undissolved matcha powder that left a gritty, unpleasant texture.
This was the Matcha Latte I got, absolutely disgusting. I thought I was given someones coffee order by mistake. Their powder is beyond expired if it turned brown, it needs to be thrown away
One of those hidden gems in Georgetown. Great place to sit and relax with a drink and a snack. Clean, quiet and plenty of seating. Great food too. The spicy hot chocolate cookie is spicy but not overly so..just enough to add a little bit of heat. Their brownies are rich and delicious (and they're already cut in half so you can share with a friend). Friendly staff too.
Overpriced Bundt cake and a brown matcha latte
3-4 people were working. But none to serve me. Men in front of me had paid already when i got in line. They were waiting for their order while dressing their coffees. Two minutes passed…the people at front kept busy restocking the display case never acknowledging my presence. So i left.
Go to Grace St Coffee or elsewhere. Much better services. Sure, i want to support the veterans but i’d rather send a check than feel discriminated.

This bakery has some lovely cuisines and a lovely environment. I appreciate the services they provide and my favorite sandwich is "The Captain".

Delicious pastry (e.g. cupcakes!) that's even more delicious knowing you're supporting a good cause. Was pleasantly surprised how yummy the red velvet cupcake frosting was, like a cheesecake

Great food and a great cause - helping veterans re-integrate into civilian life and become self-sufficient. The stuffed croissants are truly dangerous. They ship if you don't want to take things home on the plane.
