Loved the pork skewers and buns. Duck curry was a smaller portion than expected but very tasty. Great deals here during happy hour.

Don’t get the mango sticky rice when the mango is out of season. That was my bad ..

Whether for a quick bite or full meal, doi moi never misses! Really great offerings at a decent price. Plenty of gluten free options too, including drunken noodles!
The specials were unique and delicious.

Trendy spot with creative Vietnamese fusion, tasty cocktails, and a lively vibe — though portions are small and prices a bit high

The coffee soft serve is one of the best things I’ve ever had.
Food was great, atmosphere was lovely, and we all had a grand time. Our server Izzy went ABOVE AND BEYOND and made the experience at Doi Moi truly delightful. Very thankful for his energy and for this 14th street staple!

Tried to overcharge me after we ordered the unlimited drinks. The lady who was bartending is very rude. Be careful here
I was late, saw the table for 4 and explained I wanted to try the menu. The smiling hostess sat us at a table for 6. The adventure began. Our server arrived as we sat down. Food began arriving without much delay and we determined we loved everything in varying degrees. The drunken noodles were too spicy for one, but deemed noodles were too spicy for one, but deemed perfect by the other 3. The very large fried oyster mushroom, chicken wings, crispy tofu and pork and shrimp rolls were full of flavor and not greasy. Chicken dumplings were lightly spiced and the wrapper was moist and not heavy, Scallop Carpaccio had the perfect vinegar sauce, Summer Rolls were as expected and moist, flashed fried jerky (not tough, very moist) in our opinion was the same meat on the drunken noodles without all the spice.
Mekong-spiced fried fish was perfectly fried and had sauces that enhanced. The Duck Curry was moist slices with a light curry sauce. fried and had sauces that enhanced. The Duck Curry was moist slices with a light curry sauce. We felt the Shaken Beef was similar to the jerky. Sai-gon rice was a hit with everyone. Out of all the desserts we tried, the Coconut Beignets and the Vietnamese Coffee soft serve ice cream were voted the best. Definitely will be back.

Loved the happy hour but service is slow. Basically sat at the bar for 10 minutes while the bartender cleaned. Seems like customers would be more important than prepping at 6pm. Oh well.

I came in to try the bottomless brunch at 3:30. The hostess explained that Brunch ends at 4 but that I could order food until 4 and I would still have an hour and a half to finish what I had ordered. I sat down at the bar as instructed, and the bartender proceeded to challenge what the host told me, saying it was too late to order brunch. It took her 15 minutes to bring her manager, and by this point it’s 3:45. I told him I didn’t mind ordering the 4 dishes I wanted to try before 4, and he said ‘we don’t flood the kitchen like that’. What kind of restaurant can’t handle a ticket with 4 dishes at once? Terrible service. Snobby, rude management.

The bottomless food brunch here really does feel like an adventure. I think they’re trying to emulate a similar format to the other bottomless tapas spots for brunch around the city. Unfortunately, they always fire everything for the table in order and it made it such that it was really hit or miss at various points. Often food was brought out too quickly and then there was no space or multiple meat dishes were brought out even though we had stated we were mostly vegetarian. I get that they are trying to make things easier for the ordering system/kitchen but I’m just not sure this is the best method.
Definitely some dishes that were highlights was the fried tofu, mango salad and brussels sprouts while the fried dumplings and bao were just alright. There were a good few things at the bottom of the menu that we didn’t get to because we were so full early on but there were some promising dishes missed. Overall bit of an overwhelming experience, Im not sure I would come back for brunch specifically.

Went for brunch and the place is beautifully decorated. The price for the bottomless brunch was fair for the quality but with the 1.5 hrs time limit and how slow the service was it was a rush to eat and actually enjoy the meal. Food would take 10-20min to come out with some dishes being forgotten altogether. The root cause of this issue was the server not putting in the food correctly, disappearing, or completely forgetting to ask us questions. They handled my allergy very well, but service was so slow that the manager was having to wait our and other tables.
