I've had my share of AUTHENTIC pho down in Texas where I'm from (Houston, to be exact, where the Vietnamese restaurants are operated by VIETNAMESE people, including the kitchen), and the pho here was very disappointing. The broth tasted like it was store-bought (and so, the broth tasted like salt water), the beef was RAW (which means that the broth wasn't hot enough to cook the beef through), the taste was mid (i had to drench the pho in hosin and siracha for it to have some kind of flavor), and overall, the pho was very underwhelming. Not worth the prices they charge.On a positive note, this is a nice joint to go and have a drink--hip vibe, cool drinks, music playing in the bar area, etc. Nevertheless, there's hardly anything authenticly Vietnamese about this place, especially with regards to the food. Y'all should consider changing "Vietnamese" to "Vietnamese-inspired" or something.

Possibly the best food I’ve ever had in the DMV meets incredible service. They didn’t have the dessert we wanted, so they comped us the one we chose instead. Also, as someone who is sensitive to gluten, dairy, corn, and peanuts, eating out is often extremely tricky and limited, but I was able to choose from maybe 70% of their menu, which is super impressive. Great spot if you have dietary restrictions and want a lot of options.Just a note, you definitely want a reservation. This place is busy for a reason!Dietary restrictions: Gluten-, dairy-, and nut-containing options are clearly labeled. Ask about other restrictions if you have them.

Enjoyed Easter lunch here. The waitress was so sweet and checked up on us regularly. Wait time for food was not bad. We got the whole fish, the ratatouille, and the meat platter, ending things off with the sticky rice and mango. Food was really good and presentation was 10/10. I’ll definitely be coming back here.Only thing that I wasn’t a big fan of was the sticky rice and mango, but it’s more of a preference thing.

Food was delicious. Many interesting options. We had the meat sampler tower and the crab and bacon fried rice.The highlight of the night though, was Joel and his repertoire of dad jokes. He had us cracking up every time he come to the table.

We got two dish and the beef one was my favorite. Definitely recommend that. It was soft and seasoning was great. Server didn’t ask the temperature I think it comes in just one way, which was okay for me. The portions were big! The other dish was vegetarian ? rice. It was a little bit spicy but yummy! ?There was happy hour drink! We tried the dragon fruit and it was sour and the great shake with rum. The drink come super fast.However the check had 3.75 service charge ?All over our experience with doi moi was great! Definitely recommend that place with the shaken meet dish!Vegetarian options: The rice dish we ordered was vegetarian and taste was really good.
