I was more than pleased to tag along and try Uyghur cuisine.\n\nParking was found around the corner on the street. There is an upstairs and downstairs with cozy areas to sit and dine. My first visit to Dolan Uyghur was at their new restaurant in Rockville. The food and service were outstanding. I expected a similar experience at the DC restaurant this past Saturday night but was disappointed. The Royal Laghman with chicken contained barely any meat and the Korma Chop with tofu had virtually no vegetables. The portions were also meager. There were few people in the restaurant yet it took several minutes for a waiter to show up at our table. The food service...

Great tasting, authentic Uyghur food 5 feet from Cleveland Park metro stop. Place was packed and there are so many great tasting dishes. I was hoping for some of the Uyghar bread I used to get in Beijing years ago but did not see any.
