Dolcezza Gelato & Coffee

one of the best quality matcha latte i’ve had in DC hands down! The spice banana flavored was so delicious! The barista was kind also great staff!

Absolutely amazing! We wandered in from our hotel and literally went back every night before leaving DC. The passion fruit and the black & white cookie gelato flavors are delicious! Best gelato I’ve ever had! Also, the affogato was perfect!

The employees were so nice and welcoming to me. They let me try so many delicious flavors. I ended up getting the hazelnut flavored one and absolutely loved it!

As you’d expect, a great place to savor sweet treats of both the food and beverage variety. But Dolcezza is also an underrated spot to grab filter coffee… their batch brew is some of the best I’ve had in the DMV (or anywhere else).

Had hot cocoa and gelato here. Having lived in Italy, the taste is definitely authentic and really liked how they serve gelato even in the morning. Would come here again for sure

I go to the DuPont Circle Dolcezza regularly and every time I visit I feel so warmly welcomed by Joelle, Cece, Will, Emily, Diego, Casey and all the staff there! They remember my favorite orders and prepare them with care. Sometimes I grab a drink and a baked treat just to come in and say hi to the staff. Recommend popping in to this cafe anytime you’re in the area.

The only thing I’m bummed about it is they’ve double their prices in the last year. An ice latte w/ oat milk for $9 is a bit wild even for DC standards. Still a great spot though, I just hope the owners consider making it a bit more affordable.

Great gelato but their small cup size has shrunk down to about the size of a shot glass. Maybe they could save some money by using the same cups for their single espresso shots.

Grabbed a flat white on the way to a conference. Nice space, clean, and the baristas were friendly. Coffee was delicious and quick. I was surprised to be the only person in there at 7:30 on a weekday morning but it got me in and out quickly!

I mean this. This is the best ice cream i have had in my life to date. Black sesame ice-cream and the hazelnut. I still think about this place. wow.

Unique and beautiful tasting flavors, customer service felt a bit impersonal and rushed and passive aggressive towards the end of the night even though we came an hour before closing. But I’m still thinking about that pistachio and strachiatella combo…. so good ! Cozy atmosphere, and amazing hot chocolate.
