Excellent hot chocolate - we tried both the seasonal one as well as the classic, both great.
Service was also excellent: kind, super attentive and helpful. We will be back.

This place is wayyy too expensive for me to go here but my girlfriend looooves their ice cream more than she loves me, so I've been here a few times. I don't like flavored ice cream that much so I usually get plain (not vanilla!) when I get ice cream, but you shouldn't do that at this place. The flavors actually add to the ice cream instead of take away from it. The texture is good too, but that's true of a lot of places.
So I would say, yes, go here if you can afford it. And if you like ice cream.

My favorite americano in dc and I buy my coffee beans here to make coffee with my French press at home. This location has a beautiful communal working table and outlets for charging.

Joanna the barista made our first experience here unforgettable! She was so kind, friendly, and patient, going above and beyond in allowing us to sample nearly every flavor until we found the flavor combo of our dreams! She was also very knowledgeable about ingredients and graciously catered to allergies. We highly recommend you stopping in, and trying their gelato. (Psst Hazelnut Crackle, Pistachio Siciliano, and Dulce de Leche Chip are to die for!)
Dietary restrictions: Friendly with egg allergies

Hot chocolate is like a warm hug in a cup! It's creamy, rich, and velvety, with a deep chocolate flavor that's both sweet and slightly bitter. When you take a sip, it feels like a cozy blanket, wrapping you in comfort. Perfect for chilly days or just when you need a little indulgence!

Dessert and coffee shop in Dupont circle. Seats 15 ish people. One communal table in the center and four counter top high chair seats looking out the window. Espresso: strong, citrus taste, not bitter, smooth. Gelato: Unique flavours. Pistachio Sicilian was the best I've had, creamy and strong pistachio flavor. Minty chocolate was surprisingly strong, good to offset another creamy gelato. Cost: $7 for two flavours, espresso $4-$6 depending on milk level (cortado, flat white, latte). Overall: Good place for good gelato and a coffee.
