Forever missing CoCo Ichibanya. This place was pretty good. I loved the curry. The two guys working were super friendly

A reliable cheap eat in a neighborhood of overpriced entrees, Donburi specializes in delicious rice and salad bowls for fast-casual diners. Perfect for takeout or a quick bite at their limited-space counter.

Amazing food at a good price. We had the tempura/kaarage combination

The best bowl I've ever had. Sushi rice seasoned perfectly. High quality salmon. Winner.

Rice is amazing. Fish is amazing. Chicken is amazing. You cannot go wrong with eating here at 7pm on a Tuesday, or late night on a Saturday.

The meal is all served in take out boxes due to COVID. They gave a lot of curry and the katsu was breaded in a way that it is more crispy than crunchy. Great for a quick meal on the go

Came here for dinner with a group of 4. They have self ordering kiosks where you're able to browse through their menu and pay without having to interact with anyone. We each got a different signature item and everyone loved it! Lots of flavor and a good amount of food too. The fried chicken was a favorite but the real surprise star was the tempura shrimp. Probably the best tempura shrimp we've had in a while. Overall, a great spot for dinner. I really think you get the most out of your money here not to mention the chill atmosphere perfect for a date. If you aren't sure where to go for dinner I highly recommend this place!!!

Did delivery twice, and love it! Sometimes we just order a few more, and tuck them away in the fridge. Still good next day. My fav is the salmon.

Although the space is small, it is super convenient and fast service because you are able to order at the kiosks in the front. I ordered the Karaagedon; delicious and the portions are great! Super great environment if you're able to get a seat at the bar and eat.

Super smooth ordering experience. Staff was quick and friendly. Lots of options. Good for pescatarians or people with dairy sensitivity.

This place used to be my go to when I visited dc but the quality isn't as great and maybe it's bc so many poke spots offer better flavors. I get the Moriwase (eel, shrimp, chicken kaarage, salmon. I think the salmon could have been slightly thicker Cuts, the shrimp wasn't bad, the eel was delicious. The chicken- is SOOO DRY, and over cooked. This issue happened the last 2 times too so I think it's the way they make it. Usually Japanese style kaarage is so juicy. Anyways will need a new donburi spot

Have always walked past this location on Adams Morgan and finally got to try it! This is a very nice location for a casual and quick spot to grab dinner. There's limited seating at the bar and it's a small space but (we went on a Tuesday night) there weren't a lot of people and we were able to sit away from other groups. The menu is also a bit limited, however, love that you're able to order yourself on a screen (and they have two). Despite the limited menu, everything looked delicious; I had the Karaagedon and my partner had the Butadon and both were delicious and great portions for the price. Both dishes came out quick so it was perfect for a low key night. Definitely a great spot for a casual night out or also to go!

Hole in the wall restaurant with excellent flavours. Serving sizes could be a little larger, I'm used to a don completely filling me up.

The fried chicken was amazing. I really like the curry sauce too. Great hangover or pre drinking food.

Glad to see this place is still around since the last time I visited 4 years ago. Pretty good covid sanitation protocol, and absolutely delicious rice bowls
