Dovetail Bar & Restaurant

Payed a little over $100 for each person for the nye dinner on Eventbrite. Come to find out, before I’m about to leave they bring a check that says I need to pay the gratuity and tax which came out to be an extra $75 that was totally unexpected since I was expecting the online cost to cover everything. Food was okay but wasn’t worth the price, I’ve found better dinners on Eventbrite for $100 taxes and gratuity included along with a complimentary drink.

Service here was amazing! AYA did an amazing job taking care of us , very friendly very knowledgeable she was absolutely lovely and the food was outstanding! Cocktails were great. Will definitely come back again!

I came here a couple weeks ago and it was great. Would highly recommend the miso wings! Our bartender Malcolm was awesome, 10/10 service will definitely come back!

The crab deviled eggs and pork chop were lovely. The service took a while to receive some of our entrees. They have a kids menu, which was helpful. My husband's birthday treat was a nice touch.

We went there to celebrate my birthday. Our table was ready with a birthday card. Our waitress and Georgie were very attentive. The food was good and they served me panna cotta for my birthday. I'm sure I'll go there again

Beautiful little gem, we live just a few blocks away and it was our first time ( what a shame we never knew about this place ) great craft cocktails, their raw bar was amazing, grilled oysters and crab deviled eggs we're so good! We set inside but patio looked very inviting, it was just way too humid. We are definitely coming back, happy hour seams a great deal we have to check it out! Everyone seamed welcoming and friendly.

The style of the restaurant was very elegant and comforting. However, service was slow for there not to have been many customers in the restaurant. Also, the waitress nor the other person serving food to us knew what the food was or what alcohol was available to purchase. They kept saying they had to ask the bar and the kitchen. The price for the meal was not worth the quality or quantity.

Highly recommend if you are looking for an absolutely amazing night. The food was amazing and the staff were so welcoming. While we did not eat on the patio, it was a gorgeous space away from the street so it felt more private than most outdoor options. We were greeted with a lovely note from the staff waiting for us at our table celebrating our first wedding anniversary which was incredibly thoughtful. My husband and I ordered the corn chowder and pork croquettes respectively which were both amazing. Though we both preferred the croquettes due to the lovely smokiness of the meat and the pickled watermelon that came with it. For our entré my husband had the dry aged new York strip which he described as the best steak he's ever had. I had the striped bass which was moist, flaky and flavorful. For anyone looking for a delicious meal with attentive staff and an elegant ambiance Dovetail is the place to go!

My wife and I had an exceptional brunch experience at Dovetail. I enjoyed a perfectly cooked omelette, while she loved the pancakes, and we shared a delightful cheese appetizer. The service was truly outstanding—our server, Denize, was attentive and professional, and the manager ensured everything went smoothly. We're already looking forward to our next visit!

Our server was great and very knowledgeable. The brunch options were areas and they were able to prepare fresh garlic butter for my crab legs. The Bananas Foster French toast was great. The only downside was inside was really cold.

Such a lovely intimate staff! It was my girlfriend's birthday and they had a note ready, staff constantly complimenting and wishing her happy birthday and she loved everything so much. The food was great and it was nice and quiet. They def deserve more customers or a Keith Lee effect because even the manager or owner was coming around greeting everyone! It was fantastic and I'm definitely a fan

Food came out cold. Wait staff was busy looking at their phones and socializing. Then a few hours later, one of the people in our party got sick from the chicken sandwich. It seems that it was not cooked enough. Disappointing as it's a nice spot.
