10/10 recommend! I had the 4-course restaurant week menu and was so impressed, it was a GREAT deal. Bread and butter, 5 oysters, a perfectly cooked filet, Brussel sprouts and a slice of chocolate cake all for $55. Also, the “so long, London” was one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. The service was so friendly and attentive, shoutout to my server William who did a great job! Every employee was extremely welcoming and made the experience memorable. They even have an adorable dog menu and brought my pup a water bowl and pup cup. I’ll definitely be back.

We stayed at the hotel. One morning we went for brunch. We ordered the omelette and chicken and waffle. Food was delicious, but I would definitely go back for the chicken and waffle. The chicken was fry to perfection and very juicy/flavorful!
We also had drinks almost every night we were there. Mocktails were great, old fashioned and martini were delicious. It was nice to sit by the fire in the evening. It really creates a nice vibe!

We stayed at the viceroy hotel, and originally only went to dovetail to use a credit. We were pleasantly surprised by both the food and service. So much so, that we went back for a happy hour before we left. The food is slightly above average, and it is a great option for American fare.

I came here on a Thursday night with about eight of my coworkers. The place wasn’t busy at all. Our waiter, a very kind Italian man, provided great service. The atmosphere is lovely.

I’m deducting a star because the service was incredibly slow. I don’t blame our server, but whatever other factors were at play really dragged out the process.

I ordered the roast beef and swapped the mashed potatoes for mac and cheese—it was tasty. The Brussels sprouts were good, and the Alchemist drink was lovely. I’d come back for a date night, but not if I’m starving!

We had a fantastic time at Dovetail for Valentine’s Day. We decided to do the special prix fixe menu. Every dish was delicious, and the French wine pairings were a perfect match. Our server, Aya, was amazing! She was friendly, attentive, and really made the night special. It’s such a nice cozy restaurant. We will definitely be back!

Don't skip out on Dovetail even though it's tucked away into a hotel. Even if you're not staying at the Viceroy (we were, lovely experience), you should give this a shot. Not only was all the food we had quite lovely, but the staff was amazing.

Theresa was incredibly kind, thoughtful, and shared so much of her time with us while we were dining at the bar. She had great recommendations, and even let us try a couple drinks the bar was testing out and making in house (a chimichurri liqueur that one of her staff made was crazy).

She was so cool and passionate about the work her team was doing behind the bar (shoutout to Malcolm as well, I think that was his name!) and put a lot of work into the cocktail program. I am really glad we met her and came back multiple times during our stay because of the experience. Thanks Theresa - you made our trip that much more enjoyable.

This place is so mid. They should include the +35% you’ll pay on the menu prices (tax and service charge), but then people might wouldn’t eat here. Not worth it. The Panna Cotta tasted like yoplait.

We came for bottomless brunch during restaurant week and ordered off their 3 course menu. I started with the Mac and cheese, then had the pot roast hash for my main and finished with the beignets for dessert. Mac and cheese was good! I also tried the deviled eggs and liked those too. For the main, the Roseda farm pot roast hash was not as good as I hoped. It was also slightly different than what was shown on their online menu. Online it was listed with Yukon potato and a hollandaise sauce. The menu in person listed sweet potato and no hollandaise. I did request to change it to regular potato as I wasn’t a sweet potato fan, and hoped it would be more similar to the online menu option. What came was not as I expected. It felt a little bland to me and didn’t resemble what I thought a hash was. For the dessert the beignets were great and I loved the espresso cream it came with.

This was a bottomless brunch so we were given mimosas throughout the meal. They were definitely strong and I appreciated the waiter refilling our drinks during our time! We sat in their outdoor covered porch area which was still heated and a great set up.

Visited Dovetail on a whim for restaurant week and we had an awesome experience. The staff was all so kind and helpful, everyone in our group LOVED the food and drinks, and the location is great just off the 14th street strip. One of the better options on 14th for a quality meal! Worth every penny!! Also an awesome place for an intimate cocktail, the bar tenders were talented and they stocked unique cocktail ingredients.

Loved the restaurant week menu! Started with the Mac and cheese which was sooo rich and perfect! Then had the pot roast which was so tender and fell apart. Then had the banana rum cake which was the best end to the meal. The My kink is Cardamom was the sweetest/ fruitiest drink on the menu and was so complex yet delicious! Would definitely recommend and plan to return!
And the meal started with the most delicious free bread which is too rare these days!

Came here for the first time during restaurant week! Did the three courses and tried the Mac and cheese—creamy and the salmon entree—balanced. I ordered the pot roast, which was delicious and exactly what you want. The crab deviled eggs with roe were remarkable and lovely—would recommend! I also got a nice espresso martini elevated with an orange rind. We tried both the tart and cake for dessert—go for the tart if you like banana pudding and bananas foster!

The service was stellar—10/10. Volume level is good for conversation, elder millennials. Would be nice for a date night.
