Great unassuming speakeasy! The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable and they make some great cocktails too. Given the prices of other speakeasies in the area, their prices are very reasonable. I would highly recommend!

Dram and Grain exceeded all expectations with their exceptional service and accommodations for our large party. From the moment we arrived, the host at the door made us feel welcome, setting the tone for a fantastic evening.
The highlight of the night was the outstanding service at the bar, led by Enoch. His attention to detail, professionalism, and warm demeanor made the experience unforgettable. Every guest in our group had an amazing time, and it’s clear that the team at Dram and Grain takes pride in ensuring their patrons are well taken care of.
I can’t recommend this spot enough for anyone looking for great drinks, impeccable service, and a memorable atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back!
Thank you Enoch!

A masterclass of thoughtful mixology, well-priced and a space you can actually *hear* you and your friends when talking! Have been twice, will be many times.

Oddly the drinks were not as consistent or impressive as the light fare in terms of food offerings, but the great service and nice speakeasy vibe in the basement made for an all around fun evening.
I started with the BARLEY: DUCK FAT SOCHU
(BOURBON, PLUM, VERMOUTH, MUSHROOM TINCTURE) and while it was well balanced, this Manhattan spin didn't work for me
My friend tried the SORGHUM: WHISKEY (SORGHUM MEXICAN WHISKEY, CORN LIQUEUR,
MAPLE SYRUP, MOLE BITTERS, POPPED SORGHUM) and had a similar experience unfortunately.
For my second cocktail, I went with a classic Vieux Carre (Rye, Cognac, Sweet Vermouth, Benedictine, Angostura, Peychauds) and it was a perfect spirit-forward, well balanced cocktail.
I unfortunately can't recall my friend's second cocktail, but I know he enjoyed it.
As for the food, it was a much more even consistency in terms of our enjoyment.
We started with the following small bites:
French Onion Dip (Caramelized Vidalias, Sherry, Worcestershire, Chive, Fried Saltines)
Pickled Fennel Deviled Eggs (Amish farmed eggs, sweet wine pickle brine)
Smoked Rabbit & Dijon Sausage (Amish roaster rabbit, sauerkraut, whole grain honey mustard, potato roll)
All were excellent, really well prepared and well presented little creations.
As for our mains, we split the following two sandwiches:
Fried Chicken (Pickle Brined Thigh, Hot Mayo, Pickle )
Smashed Wagyu Burger (American Cheese, LTO, Burger Sauce)
Both were excellent but the wagyu burger in particular was superb, just a really great cut and perfectly smashed.
Our host/server and bartender were terrific, very welcoming and knowledgeable.

This was a delightful experience!
We had almost the whole menu of snacks and 3 cocktails apiece, all a different variety.
I lack photos of the experience but it was so much fun! The cocktails were delicious and the bartender explained how detailed and scientific creating them can be.
Knowledgeable and wonderful experience. Highly recommend you give them a try!

I've heard so many great things about Dram & Grain from when they first opened pre-pandemic. While they've been "open" for a while now, it's been the same menu as the rest of The Imperial. Fast forward to May 2024—I see a post advertising a preview night showcasing some experimental cocktails they've been working on.I ordered two cocktails which absolutely scratched that "unique cocktail" itch. The first containing Duck Fat Sochu, plum, Vermouth, Bourbon, and Mushroom tincture. It was extremely well balanced and I loved every sip—somewhat similar to a Manhattan but also a refreshing departure.Last, the Sorghum Whiskey is one of the most unique Old Fashioned riffs I've ever had. A very distinct flavor, and again, very well balanced. To top it all off, these unique cocktails were very fairly priced at $14 each.Leighton (the bartender) was very knowledgeable and did a fantastic job of explaining the menu and providing insight into the ingredients. While the experimental menu is currently only available on Wednesdays / Thursdays, I was excited to hear that they're working on turning the space into a more permanent "cocktail nerd" space—think a separate hidden entrance, seperate menu available on weekends, food pairings, etc. I'll definitely be back!

This is one of my favorite bars. The only downside is the consistency of their hours. Sometimes they close early. The bartenders are amazing. Highly recommend visiting, but go early.

Rented out the venue for a birthday party. Fantastic event planner, delicious food, SPECTACULAR drinks and whiskey list, and world class bartenders. Cannot say enough good things!! Already searching for an excuse to do another event with them. All the atmosphere and bartending resources of Jack Rose, with a speakeasy/Gatsby-esque atmosphere and top notch service. Planning was totally hassle free. Execution was flawless. Thank you so much!

The cocktails were amazing. “Bounce house” (pictured below) and “Above the Clouds” were especially delicious as someone who doesn’t actually really enjoy the taste of hard liquor.Got lucky and was able to walk in, but I would definitely recommend getting a reservation! Service is very kind but slow.

Love the Atmosphere of the route top bar
Loved the drinks and great service!
As someone who has bartended before, Dram & Grain is probably one of my new favorite bars. Insane selection of spirits with knowledgeable bartenders who can point you in the right direction. Servers were friendly and accommodating to off-the-menu drinks. Hosts were also fantastic, as we didn’t have a table reserved for two, but they made things work for us on a busy night.I got two orders of the clarified Pisco-pineapple drink with cardamom bitters. Easily top 5 drinks I’ve had in the city.4.85/5.0 ✨
Just like Manoja said... The staff was very passionate and knowledgeable
