Liked it a lot. Left in a good mood.
Got a pandan latte and it was delicious. It was a solid spot if you’re in the area and need a drink.

I visited DUA DC COFFEE with high expectations, and while there were several things I enjoyed, the overall experience was a bit mixed for me.
The café has a very nice atmosphere — modern, cozy, and well designed. It’s a comfortable place to sit and relax, whether you’re meeting a friend or spending some quiet time on your own. The space feels thoughtfully arranged, and it’s easy to see why many people enjoy spending time here.
The service was also a highlight. The staff were friendly, polite, and attentive, making the visit pleasant from start to finish. Ordering was smooth, and they were happy to answer questions about the menu.
However, the coffee itself was not quite to my taste. I found the acidity to be quite strong, which overpowered the balance and made it less enjoyable for me. While I understand that some coffee lovers appreciate bright, acidic profiles, I personally prefer a smoother and more balanced cup. Because of this, the coffee was a bit disappointing compared to the otherwise great setting.
Overall, DUA DC COFFEE is a nice place with a great vibe and good service, but the coffee flavor profile may not suit everyone. If you enjoy bold, acidic coffee, this could be a good spot for you. For me, it was a decent experience, but there’s room for improvement.

Very clean place with good coffee.
Delicious coffee and friendly service!
One of the best coffee shops in DC! The quality and flavor profiles of their drip and pour overs is excellent, and they make great espresso. They have a variety of different pastries and snacks - croissants, empanadas, banana toast (my favorite!). Definitely worth a stop by, and worth hanging out a while if you can find a seat.

Loved the croissant
So flaky and buttery, not dry at all. You can tell it’s fresh and made with care. Honestly one of those little treats that makes your morning better ✨ Would definitely come back just for this
Excellent coffee and service. The pain au chocolat was perfect, warm and flaky. Definitely visit this cafe when you’re in the neighborhood!

Coffee superb! Bean quality, without question, is one the best I tried in the US so far (only been living here 2+year).. tried americano, drip coffee, and cold brew pandan... Americano was bold (though mentioned it was medium roasted, but it was a gayo bean, so that's it).. the drip was told to be bean from west java (Garut) was more acidic, but acceptable since it was manual brew.. and the cold brew pandan was fun and refreshing!!
Just note on the hospitality, could have been better, your barista not even tried to get eye contact when giving the coffee to me although I was there.. maybe ot was just to me, not sure, but I said thank you (I believe, they heard that, no one care to reply).. I know it was not only because we are in DC because usually when customer said thank you, some for of reply usually heard of.. anyway, it was not bad bad, consider it's DC, but it can be better
And note on the music.. guess it was to loud because it was making the guests to talk loud with each other, and it was hard to hear the baristas calling out your number.

Best coffee and cozy ambiance
Dua was fantastic, I’ve had both espresso and pour over with never a disappointing experience. I have bought beans from them as well and there is a great array of choices from all over the world that showcases the variety in tasting notes coffee can contain.
Highly recommend anyone to check out in DC, and while the pastries are good I do find they are higher priced than many other coffee shops in DC and the area, so I don’t often get food from here.

Latte was smooth, not overly sweet, and perfect temp. Their storefront entrance is on the smaller side, so there was a line, but the lattes didn’t take long to come out. Sat by the front window and people watched. It was a good morning.
