Coffee was super good! Had two cups of Flat Whites. I dont typically order food from these places since all of it comes from a convection oven. So can’t rate it.

cute little coffee shop in Dc! I came here in January when I attended the pro Palestine protest and got the mint mocha, iced. It was delicious ☺️

I was expected to immediately know what I wanted upon walking in and the cashier was unhelpful/seemed annoyed. The space is cozy, but really small, so there are only 3-4 small tables in the back - wouldn't recommend for remote work. The food was awesome though, so I really wish I would have had a better service experience.Vegetarian options: breakfast toasts, empanadasDietary restrictions: no label/options for gluten free

A top stop for good coffee downtown. I have not been disappointed in drinks or food every time I've visited, and they move quickly on busy mornings which is always impressive!

The lemon cherry scone and piccolo were amazing! I really appreciate the effort to put milk foam art even on a tiny tiny to-go cup. The atmosphere is cozy and they have WiFi. If you can find a seat and don't mind background noise it would be a nice place to work.

Bar none, the BEST coffee shop there is in DC. Don’t waste your time at Compass nearby. Seriously do yourself a favor, go here. Get a pour over, Klavee, or their Brown Latte. If you don’t like coffee, go with the Matcha Mango. You can’t go wrong though, everything I’ve had here is great. They need more locations.

I brought my family here after a quick galavant around the American History Museum. The coffee shop was a bit further away than we thought it was and it was pretty windy and cold outside, so when we arrived at DUA DC cold, we were weary and ready to sit down for a little bit.On stepping inside the door we were immediately met with a line that was almost out the door. Turns out it wasn't actually that much of a line it was really just the result of more than three people standing in front of the counter. The shop is pretty narrow and there's not a lot of room near the front so things get congested pretty quickly, especially at busier times. In any case, we were able to place our order pretty quickly and went hunting for some seats. Unfortunately there really wasn't much available. We came at a pretty busy time and there were only about 5-6 tables inside which were all filled. It was about that time that my 6-month-old decided that she was hungry and would cry unceasingly until she had eaten. The problem was that there was literally nowhere for us to go – we just kind of wandered around with a crying infant trying to figure out what to do. Finally, I went up to the counter and asked the staff if they had any place where my wife could feed that wasn't the bathroom. Our entire experience changed from this point forward...Immediately one of the workers got her manager and asked if my wife could use the breakroom to which she unhesitatingly said yes and personally led her back and got her comfortable. About that time a table opened up and our drinks were ready. Seeing I was short-handed, the staff up front even offered to help me carry some of the drinks back to our table. It was a small thing but literally changed everything about the experience for us.The coffee itself was good. DUA has their own speciality roasts and do pour-overs on the weekends, which is a pretty rare thing for most coffee shops because it takes so much time. My wife ordered a vanilla latte and enjoyed that as well.Overall, we'd definitely go back here in the future. DUA really isn't a great place to sit and do work or hang out for an extended period of time, but it is a good cup of coffee and worth the trip.

Cute place right in the heart of DC! Tried the cheese and onion empanadas and they were so delicious. Pastries looked yummy, and my oat milk cappuccino was really good. Highly recommend for a quick coffee to-go or snack if you're in the area!
