Had an hour before our timed entry to the Monument and was starving for some breakfast. On the maps this came as the closest and most convenient. Walked around the building twice trying to find any entrance. Bumped into another family looking for the same. Luckily, across the Independence street, there is another entrance to the USDA where they let you go in to use their cafeteria (you just need to go through a minor security checkpoint). The cafeteria offers many food stations with home made foods and coffee dock. Very affordable as well.
