In my hour of need Dupont Pizza was there for me. This is hot, fresh, and delicious pizza! Instantly a DC must for me.
This spot will always have a special place in my heart. There are a lot of elitists out there that scoff at anything that's not a $30 Neapolitan with a hot honey option. This is a no-frills, reliable pizza in a city that isn't swimming with NJ/NY style options. This is where plain cheese slices shine. This is especially great as a late-night option if you want an upgrade from jumbo slice.
I see a lot of folks complaining about it being too doughy when ordering delivery--if it's not crispy enough, 30 seconds on a skillet makes it crispy and delicious.
If I'm out with friends and it's a nice day, yeah, I may want a proper sit-down and a beer at Andy's. But, if I'm in my pajamas and feel like eating an entire pie by myself in bed in the dark, Dupont Pizza absolutely reigns supreme.

We grabbed pizza here while in town. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We ordered pizza but they also had pizza ready to go by the slice. It was neat to watch them throw and prep the dough for our pizzas. Definitely recommend for the food and service.

Just a classic shitty pizza. No real flavor, bland dough, it's too chewy, the crust is too boring and tough for there to be so much of it. It's not a thin crust but it's still a bit floppy. There's nothing satisfying happening on the pie, at all.
I wanted a slice but the slices left under the warmer looked so stale and cold that I wasn't going to bother, so I figured I'd get a whole pie for dinner instead. I really should have just walked out.
This is one of those places where the only person working there is talking on the phone to someone the whole time, doesn't care if you're there or not, and it shows in the food.
Wouldn't waste your money here, even for a slice, which are way too expensive by the way.

Thanks for the top-tier service last week. I was spending some days visiting DC with my family and that place was at the right time in the right spot. Friendly, fast, and with the decisiveness of a man who knows his crust from his calzone. The pizza was crispy, cheesy, and just the right amount of east coast touch. It was the classic late-night charm with a side of “I could totally eat another slice.” If you're in DC and craving a slice that hits the spot, go see Carlos at Dupont Pizza. Tell him his namesake from Spain with allergy to small pizzas sent you.
