Lovely atmosphere and drinks, however, I loathe the uniforms of the employees. It's giving country diner and not wine bar. Honestly hurts my eyes to look at. I would suggest a solid color oppose to the plaid. Overall, cool place.

Good food and drinks. Mule could have been a little stronger but over all great experience.

So honestly this place is pretty bad. The service was absolutely subpar. Took way too long to have our server come take our orders and that was pretty much the last time we saw her. When a dish we ordered was not brought out we had to flag down another server. My companion ate a meal they did not order simply because getting the staffs attention to remedy the situation was so difficult.
The food was meh and dear god the bathrooms...
They are tiny closets with barely enough room to squeeze in and shut the door. They are not clean. At all. I will not go into detail but the toilet was disgusting.
This place was not busy, staff were milling about chatting and laughing with each other. Which makes our absentee server or the difficulty getting anyones help even more odd.
I finally found a manager(?) to bring us the check.
There was an 8 doller diet coke and a charge for a condiment sized cup ranch dressing. They charged for a cup of ranch dressing on the side. That's on top of each check(we split it) having a 5% surcharge. For what? Would love to have asked but frankly, we were super over sitting there waiting.
It's getting 2 stars because the one thing they did well was the chicken salad sandwich.
That was pretty on point when it was finally brought to the table.
For the prices they charge I expected the food and service to be a higher caliber.
This place is a hard pass.
Horrific service. Server was MIA most of our visit. Food was meh. They add service charges (party of 4) and charge lofty reservation booking fees. They also charge for ranch, which might be okay if we only ordered fries, but we spent some change here, throw in a few dollops of ranch would ya? This place thinks highly of themselves considering how mediocre they are.

If you plan on ordering a cocktail when you dine here, just show up with your own liquor cause the drinks are the weakest you'll ever try. My party and I had to order shots to add to our so-called alcoholic cocktails that were obviously non-alcoholic. I give it two stars because the vibe was chill, though we got bitten by mosquitos.
Great place for a happy hour

we waited for over 20 minutes and no one came to our table despite being only one of two tables in the restaurant that were occupied. what kind of service is that? absolutely ridiculous....

My wife and I were looking for a bite to eat and saw they had calamari from other google reviews, so I had to check it out. It did not disappoint as it was very tasty and the breaking was very light, which I enjoyed. We both ordered pizzas, which were delicious. Price and portion size were average for the area, so no complaints about that. They had a large drink menu, so if you are into wine, this looks like a good place. Our server was polite but somewhat scarce between visits, but I won'thold it against the restaurant. The owner came around and thanked us for stopping in to eat, which I appreciated.
Vegetarian options: Large portion of the menu can be made without meat
Kid-friendliness: I would say this is a higher end place to enjoy some wine tasting so maybe leave the kids at home.

I went here for a birthday dinner with my fianceè! The vibes were really great and the food was really good! I was a little disappointed to see my $30 pasta didn’t come with a small side salad or a slice or two of bread, but the flavors were outstanding- probably the most authentic vodka sauce I have tasted. It was also in a very small bowl and was kind of overflowing. I would suggest maybe putting the pastas in a larger bowl with a wide rim and cover the pasta rim to rim in the herbs that were in it- a much better presentation snd easier to eat! Also, I understand it’s DC and on the water, but for $30, please offer at least a side salad to elevate flavor and experience.
The burrata caprese salad was wonderful, but was a little small for a shareable plate. Also, my fianceè got a rose that tasted incredibly watered down, but just decided to drink it because she doesn’t like conflict.
Our service was a bit slow for a Sunday evening at 5:00 and our waitress seemed a bit…..off, but I would come back!

Went in to discuss tires and rims. Plus, I needed air. They went above and beyond. Gave me information that really helped me make a good cost decision. They didn't have to, they could have sold me just some expensive tires. Great job and thanks.

Went during restaurant week. Ate the brussel sprouts, steak frites, and cheescake desert. Brussel sprouts were tasty, steak was underwhelming but fries were good. Could not believe how small the cheesecake they served for dessert was compared to other restaurant week menus. Overall felt overpriced for the quality of food and definitely were paying for the prime location in the Wharf

The food was good. However, the service was less than adequate. He only checked on us once and that was 30 minutes after we received our meal. Food was brought out in the wrong order that we requested. Won’t return.
