I come here regularly to work or just grab a drink, and it’s easily one of the best coffee spots in the area. The staff is always friendly and welcoming, and you’ll notice a lot of regulars who enjoy coming here. There’s plenty of seating (including a large downstairs area!) so it’s one of the few places nearby where you can reliably find a spot to sit and get some work done.

The staff felt really unempathetic. It was freezing with -18 temperature and we were sitting inside also had 4 coffees and they close at 6, and at dot 6 they forced us to leave. Our cab was 6 mins away and they did not let us stay inside for even 30 more seconds and asked us to stand outside. All we asked was to stay inside for just 5 more minutes while they clean just coz it was -18 degrees outside and they said no!
Coffee felt very average too

Very inhumane staff, in severe winter weather asked them to let us stay inside while we were waiting for our cab(which was 6mins wait) but they asked us to leave pretty rudely

We came here on a very cold day, and their hot latte was exactly what we needed. It was perfectly balanced—rich, smooth, and not at all diluted.

New Zealander looking for a good flat white in DC? Come here! Order a triple shot and you’ll think you’re in Wellington.

Ebenezer's Coffee is a compliment to the Capitol Hill community. And a nice alternative to Starbucks. It seems as if they are there to serve the community.... rather than have the community to serve them (another swipe at Starbucks). Ebenezer's is folksy and relatively unpretentious as it sets in the shadows of Union Station. It's inviting...in a curious way.

I recommend it.
