I have never been to a cafe that made smoothies without fruit. It is ridiculous. The demeanor and attitude of the staff is so-so and the products are of low quality. If you have nowhere else to go around here that you can afford, I guess you can go. But keep your expectations low.

During the moment that my spirit is being consoled I feel the need to write this review. I have had such a hard week and when I came to this establishment the ambiance was so pure and beautiful, almost healing. I came in with 5 dollars and thought maybe i could afford one juice at best. The pricing for the food was less than what I expected and I was able to get an actual breakfast before going to a job fair. The kindness from the employees was out of this world <3 I feel blessed to have stepped foot in this place. I thank the Lord for bringing me here on this day. I pray for blessings upon the workers and each person who has an opportunity to visit. sending peace love and light <3

Sister girl just took over this spot and she's doing a fantastic job. She's extremely kind professional and aims to please. I highly recommend the rasta pasta with oxtails. Off the chain! It's a little spicy Hope you have the stomach for it but it's good has so much more of her other dishes.

The restaurant food taste is no longer the same. Although the new owners has better customer service than the previous owners, the food is HORRIBLE. The bacon was uncooked and the sandwich was very greasy. The carribean taste in the jerk chicken no longer exists. I give the 2 star for customer service.

0 stars if I could. I arrived at 5:30 to pick up a previously placed order that I had already paid for and the doors were locked. Staff was rude and unresponsive. If your hours say you close at 6, you should be open until 6. Ghetto and unprofessional, praying my refund comes fast.

Today I decided to trust the stars on Uber Eats. Eclectic Cafe has an 4.8 rating so it was a must try. I ordered a combination lunch/dinner with Oxtails, Curry Shrimp, rice & peas, and cabbage. When my food arrived I was shocked to see curry chicken instead of shrimp. I REALLY wanted something besides chicken! I'm not allergic and it's just a preference for today so I didn't complain. The food is absolutely delicious. It's been a min since I ordered a Caribbean meal and was pleased in the DC area. The meat was tender ok both the oxtails and chicken. EVERYTHING was flavorful. I also liked that the sodas are $1.99 for a 20 fl oz. So many places are ripping you off so this was definitely a plus. My only dislike is that it comes in a container that's not sectioned. I particularly do not care for my food to touch AT ALL but it came without much damage so I could still eat it lol. They deserved the 4.8 stars on Uber Eats so they easily got a 5 stars from me on here! Try it!

Jamaican food was crappy! Thr ox tail barely had any meat on the bones, almost like it was somebodys leftover. Stew too salty and oily, carbage was wilted and salty!

I came from TooGoodToGo and I had to leave a review here because of their spoiled ratings. The cafe is very plain so you wouldn't think it'd be special. But I reallllly liked the jerk chicken they gave me, and the macaroni was especially awesome too. I will say the man at the cash register is a little unwelcoming, but I wouldn't let that stop me from going back again!
