Almost as good as the old days! The 1990's Eddi Leonard's was the utopia of Cheese Steak subs.Butterfly fried shrimp, before or after the Go-Go shows. The food was delicious, fresh and fast. The staff is still friendly and Covid compliant.Come experience a taste of DC history, untold!

I called to order delivery and the man told me the minimum for delivery was $15. I found that weird do to the fact their menu says $10. I wouldn't buy anything from them because of false advertising.

tl,dr: if you are looking for a good Chinese food experience, this place will get you.Don't know why this place receive all of the bad raps from folks, must have been a different time I guess. But every time I order, the food is awesome (there is a difference between awesome and good, and this place definitely is the former). Their menu is extensive, and hence you can order things you usually can't get from other place, such as Udon and rice noodle (both of them are killer btw).Also the restaurant itself is clean, modern-looking. I mean, I do not think there is much you can ask from a Chinese place. But this place did not miss the essentials (and offers something on the side). You will be happy in and out.

I must say I’m a bit surprised to see how low the rating is because I thoroughly enjoy the orange and general tso’s chicken. They were well cooked and tinder and had a ton of flavor. The rice wasn’t amazing but better than most places that don’t really fry/brown their rice long. Egg roll filling was underwhelming but beyond that I’d def order again.
I placed an order today and 2 items were missing from order. I called to explain that we were missing items and I was told that they put order in bag and they hung up on me. We have a receipt with item on it but not the items. Will not be calling again.

This is an amazing Chinese food carry out. The are friendly, and make amazing food. We have been a patrons for the last ten years, when they were on 14th street, now on Georgia Ave NW. We are outside of their delivery range (upper NW) we pick up (call in the order when leaving home and our take out has always been ready in 15 mins, we still prefer Eddies over other upscale Chinese take out places. Plus, sometimes they give us extras gratis.

Do not recommend eating here. The driver trespassed on our private property, as no one ordered from here. The food he was delivering (assuming nearby) he sat on the GROUND so that he could stuff flyers near our doors. As he approached the side on which I lived, he attempted to enter the building! I blocked him so he attempted to give me flyers. I informed him that we do not like soliciting. He then proceeded to stare in the door after I closed. As I stood there to make sure he did not get into the door. He tried to stuff flyers in the door!. I clearly told him "No, we do not like and we will throw away." He continued to try to stuff flyers and finally let the property but then engaged in a stare down contest as I waited to ensure he did not try again! Trespassing, harassment and placing ordered FOOD on the GROUND! Terrible. And yes, I made sure to discard all flyers from the property.
