I have been coming to ESL since 2009. I always loved the lounge. I can study and be stimulated by the atmosphere. Everyone is so awesome. The vibe is all but love and relaxation. You can meet your neighbors and old friends and make new friends. Such an amazing feeling and experience to have a gem in our District. The ownership still holds the same value to cater to their guests. Saint Mark is best DJ in town. Come by on Thursday because it’s such a vibe you can’t get anywhere...
Went on a Thursday and the music was just ok. Drinks were fine and atmosphere overall was nice - just wasn't vibing what they were throwing down. The back patio was a bit smokey in my opinion. I'd go back for different music.
I was here on a Summer Friday at midnight and I appreciate that this place didn't get too crowded... just the right amount of people for me. Loved the lighting and the DJ! It's almost like the perfect spot for those of us who used to party at the old 18th st lounge in our 20s ? and want the music drinks and vibe without the overcrowding and sloppy drunk ppl. I'd go back for sure!
