Super traditional restaurant. Pupusas are out of control! My favorite is chicharron con queso (pork with cheese), but with frijoles (beans) is great too. Soap de res is definitely recommended. All in all, great lunch place with very reasonable prices - $13 per dish.
Fantastic food, no-frills spot and reasonable prices. The pupusa revuelta and pupusa de frijol were both generously stuffed and absolutely delicious. I loved the equally generous portion of cabbage slaw with it, which was nice and tangy, perfectly cutting through the rich and cheesy pupusa.Be prepared to speak some Spanish (as with many spots in this neighbourhood). Will definitely be back on the next rainy day for another pick-me-up.
The woman who served us was a bit terrible, the first time she went to that restaurant, we asked her for a seafood soup and she all sarcastically said it's only the weekends, like you go every day, I mean they don't have tourists ??‍♀️ the Terrible pupusas as a Salvadoran that I am, the pupuseria are ugly, I don't recommend them and I won't go to that restaurant again either because of the bad service they give ?‍♀️
