The best avocado toast I’ve ever had! This was the perfect avo toast with a fried egg, tomatoes, picked onions and super fresh/flavorful avocado! The service was great and the cafe area was clean/easygoing
Great breakfast food. But their coffee is undrinkable: we a drip and a pour over. Both were impossible to drink, ended up getting a matcha latte, which was decent. But again, the food and service were amazing.
I’ve visited Emissary Kalorama three times over the past two weeks. The espresso drinks have been consistently great, as has the food. The food is made to order, so it takes a bit of time. My disappointment is in the counter service. A smile is free and small coffee shops are usually known for being warm and welcoming.
