NEXT MORNING UPDATE: that was a lot of food last night. ---- When chef Peter came out of the kitchen, we all clapped. Everyone who was at spark last Friday night agreed that the meal was phenomenal. I would have given this 20 stars if I could. First impression : fun atmosphere, very diverse clientele, location is not my favorite especially with rush hour traffic. Drinks : we both got the burnt mark cocktail. It's a smokey and sweet old fashion. 5 stars Appetizers: we ordered the J*** Wings because of the waiter's recommendation and HOLY CRAP, it was amazing. It was smokey, bold, spicy, juicy... Everything you ever wanted. The sauce helped with the spice and they will bring you a big mug of water just in case. Second course: bone narrow - big portion, fatty, with thick crusty bread. So fatty it clogged my arteries. I'll take it any day of the week. Main course : we shared the tri-tip wagyu beef and while I would have preferred it to be more rare, it was tender and perfectly seasoned. WHAT CAN'T CHEF PETER DO? Side dish: we ordered coconut braised collar green. They gave us enough for lunch for 1 person. It was very coconut-y and inspired me to make my own at home. Dessert: we are both stuffed to the bone at this point but we wanted to see how they would do dessert. Everything is special, and we settled for the jalapeí±o cheesecake push pop. It was more creamy cheese cake then ice cream with candied jalapeí±o. I would prefer it to be more ice cream than cheesecake, but it was good anyway. THE BEST THING: ladies and gentlemen, this place is cheap for the portion, the quality of the food, the service...with 2 cocktails, 1 appetizer, 2 main, 1 side and dessert, the bill came out UNDER $100. HUZZAAA you will see me there tmr.

Cool little venue for small music/dance events. Fun original architecture. The upstairs bar has a sorry beer selection and awful well liquor. The main bar downstairs may be better.

I love this place ! It is a wonderful event venue. The food is excellent. This used to be a firehouse. I would be cautious walking in the neighborhood at night. You can recharge your phones in some of the couches.

By far my favorite find in 2018. From the sides to the drinks to the main course, everything was fantastic! If you come here, do yourself a favor and get the rum punch of the day and the oxacan oxtail. Such delicious dishes and the rice is nice and refreshing. Give this place a shot!

This is a Caribbean INSPIRED restaurant. Emphasis noted. Small-ish portions compared to what you would expect from a traditional Caribbean restaurant. The food was great and this place was really fancy! A little pricey but you get what you pay for. Wasn’t what I had expected but I was happy. The dressing on the salad was actually my favorite part! I always get teased for ordering a side salad but this time I think I lucked out!

Went here for brunch. Love the menu but needs bottomless Mimosas.

Amazing food from beginning to end. Plates are meant to share and you'll want to because every thing is so tasty! The j*** wings were DIVINE!

I came here for Sunday brunch. The food quality is excellent. I had coffee, the curry breakfast potatoes, French style scrambled eggs and the coconut French toast with lime curd. The French toast was my favorite! The wait staff were attentive. I’m not a fan of the A la carte style menu but I would still recommend the restaurant if you’re in the area. Total bill was $26.00 before taxes and tip.

First I’ll start by saying we had the best waiter attending to us. He was great and did his best despite being short staffed. Next, the food was mediocre sadly. The restaurant came highly recommended but it just didn’t meet our expectations. I ordered the pork belly and polenta (coo coo) off the brunch menu and the pork belly was too dry and crunchy (not in a good way) and the polenta didn’t look or taste like any polenta I’ve ever had. I think ultimately the menu’s descriptions were insufficient and didn’t give accurate descriptions of the meals. An example of this is that the breakfast potatoes. Reading the menu you’d expect cube cut potatoes that are baked or fried. What we got was potatoes cooked in some curry like sauce. It was more of a potato porridge than breakfast potatoes. I was disappointed with the whole meal experience.
