This place used to be a treat as a plant based brunch now it's basically like a catered light corporate lunch. Think orzo salad and some grilled bread. We miss the 5 star chef menu with 4 courses and love put into the plant based food. Also the “brunch” is severely lacking actual breakfast options. It leaned almost Asian food and Mediterranean.

I (vegan) went to the plant based brunch with 3 of my friends (omni) and we had such an amazing experience. We all loved the food and will definitely be coming back since the brunch changes with the seasons/produce. The chestnut and porcini mushroom soup was one of the creamiest soups I have ever tasted. The mushroom teriyaki had the best texture. The pancakes were delicious.

First time at Equinox and had the 5-course meal. Each was delicious, and the service was warm and prompt. I would 100% go back again to try more of their dishes and flavors.

My wife and I celebrated our 29th wedding anniversary at Equinox. I chose Equinox as a surprise for my wife who is vegan. Although I am not vegan, I thoroughly enjoyed the vegan family style brunch. We were awestruck by the flavors, textures and freshness of the vegetables and fruits. The waiters and waitresses made this an ideal and surreal experience!

We had a wonderful time, the food was great lots and lots of plant-based options and it was delicious our waiter Kevin was fantastic and attentive. We even got a little treat as we were celebrating our anniversary. Really wonderful experience, it was our first time, but we will definitely be going back.

We celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary with dinner at Equinox on 19th. The staff was amazing and the food was superb. We felt like part of the family and we will definitely come back to eat and see them again. If you only try one item I would suggest the wild mushroom teriyaki. It will blow your mind. I also had the mushroom Wellington which puts any beef wellington to shame. My wife had the plant based tasting menu and loved every bite. We enjoyed the staff and our meal so much we came back for Sunday brunch. More good food and another great experience. Highly recommend!

Our favorite restaurant in DC! My wife and I had dinner there this evening, the second time we have had Gustavo serving us...he's the best, a true professional, such a nice person and pleasure to talk to. And it's always an honor when Chef Todd stops by the table as he did tonight!

The service overall was good, but the food was a bit mixed. The risotto balls were delicious, but the pasta we ordered felt underwhelming. I had included notes in my reservation about celebrating my friend's birthday, and while I arrived early and expected things to be set for dessert, that part was overlooked. The hostess—who I think was also our server—seated me without acknowledgment of the notes, and when dessert time came, we were simply asked if we wanted coffee or dessert. It made the moment a little awkward, and I had to step away to quietly remind the server, which wasn't ideal. On top of that, there were mosquitoes where we were seated, and I ended up getting bitten, which definitely took away from the comfort of the meal. That said, the experience was fine overall, but it missed the special touch I was hoping for given the occasion.

My friend and I wanted to explore any restaurant for Summer Restaurant Week, DC. I chose Equinox on 19th because it had vegetarian options. We did the 2 entrees option and liked our food choices.

Equinox has long been my favorite restaurant in DC. I am happy for them in their new location, which appears to give them more space plus a nice outside dining area. I did a Restaurant Week dinner with wine pairing, and as usual the food was sublime, meticulously prepared with attention to flavor as well as presentation. You can never go wrong with Equinox.

Wonderful $40 3 course dinner for restaurant week. We love the consistency of this restaurant. The food is always delicious and refreshing. This is a real bargain for D.C.

The service was outstanding, by 2 waiters, who recognized us and made us feel like old friends.
