Superb meal, wait staff excellent. Cassoulet was the featured dish and we have rarely had this as beautifully prepared.
We've enjoyed every meal we've had at Et Voila since the restaurant first opened. The food and service are always top-notch. It's our neighborhood go-to!
Et Voila is always a cozy and delicious evening! One of my favorite places to bring friends and colleagues.
Our lunch at Et Voila on MacArthur Blvd. was thoroughly enjoyable. On a Wednesday just before the holiday season began, the room was relaxed, busy but relatively quiet, service quick and attentive but not intrusive. Every dish, from soup to stew to seafoods (mussels, trout) to light salads and rich desserts, coffees, bread --- delightful, fresh, beautifully prepared. It's no wonder this favorite spot has lasted many years. Comfort in a low key....
Superb and superior food plus wonderful staff! Thank you for providing a memorable evening!
Our waiter was very good but forgot to bring one of the desert that we ordered and sadly we were billed for it..
Sunday night dinner with friends. Restaurant crowded with diners but we were seated in a separate room with 4-top tables and slightly quieter. Nice choices at fair prices in all courses. Miss the frisée aux lardons they once served. Good service given how busy they were early on.
Everything was wonderful except it is always way too hot in the restaurant. Our waiter was sweating and I asked to turn the heat down and it wasn't.
We were celebrating at Et Voila and had a delicious meal and they allowed us to sit for almost 3 hours. Never a nudge or look, it was good food, excellent service, I wish it was in my neighborhood.
Great meal, great evening. Et Voila is one of the best neighborhood bistros in DC. Happy patron of several decades.

I'm in love with this place and we need to come more often. Excellent service. We had the Mussels for brunch. Belgian 75 is great.
I had forgotten just how popular Et Voila was so this past Saturday night was no exception. We made an early reservation thinking it would not be so crowded and parking would be relatively easy, but not so. In any event, we were there to celebrate a belated birthday. We ordered duck confit and trout. I think the trout was fine but my duck, while looked especially delicious, was overly salty and just couldn't finish it. Service was very good especially considering the crowd and close quarters, our waiter was quite courteous and very attentive so we rewarded him. Wine was great and they brought a birthday profiterole for my friend without asking which was a vert nice touch. It was too crowded for my taste and in such close quarters, it seemed especially tight. Would I go back? Sure but at a less busy time. It is certainly worth trying and I bet the other menu items were great.
We are frequent visitors taking guests to Et Voila whenever possible. This time we ordered the moules marineres, and our guest the Belgian stew. Food was very good although we prefer the mussels without the celery. Our server went out of his way to help us, and we very much appreciated his outstanding help. We will continue to return to this excellent restaurant .
Thank you for an incredible dining experience! Everything about our evening was amazing! We highly recommend the Hanger Steak and fries!
We love it here. This time we had a bigger party for which the restaurant set us up perfectly, along with friendly service and delicious food. See you again soon!
