Stumbled on this spot having come from the Honfleur Gallery next door. The young lady who runs the restaurant let us sample the Honey Curry and Buffalo wings. My son, the world's pickiest eater, actually enjoyed it! We all got the wings, the Chickpea Mac N Cheese and Collard Greens, as well as the Carrot Cake. Took it home, and my wife, the world's 2nd pickiest eater, also loved it! The carrot cake was great too. Worth the drive to from New Carrollton to Anacostia, but good to know there are closer locations as well. Highly recommend!

From the customer service to the food, everything was amazing. 10/10!! I ordered the maple wings, collard greens, & Mac and cheese. I also got a jumbo chocolate chip cookie and carrot cake. I loved every single item but the Mac and cheese and carrot cake topped it off for me!Vegetarian options: Vegan restaurant

Very bad tasting food. Ordered two entrees and a side. Something just smells and tastes wrong about everything. There's definitely far, far better vegan food available at other places. I rarely write negative reviews but this food is just too terrible to ignore quietly. Had to throw about 2/3rds of my order into the trash after I couldn't tolerate it anymore and bought a drink from next door to get rid of the food's taste. Total waste of $17. Give this place a miss, and you won't miss anything.

Do Not Order From Here! The Employees Play Entirely Too Much. I Placed A UBEREATS Order & My Food Sat Ready For Over Two Hours. I’ve Even Been Short Changed Here Before! I Love Shopping Black But The Staff Is Immature And Mean Spirited. Save Your Money & Go Somewhere Else. Ok Food , But TERRIBLE Service! They Need They’re Chakras Cleansed ASAP.

I'm going to give it 2 stars because I truly believe the owners intent was there. This was my first visit to this restaurant as we are new to Maryland, and we wanted to patronize local vegan options. Our visit quickly went downhill upon entering the establishment. As I stated, we were there for the first time, so we were very green as to how to order and what the items were. We noticed that there are regular guests that come in because they were very direct with what they wanted, so they walked past us in line, while in the mean time, we were left standing in line with no assistance from the VERY rude staff. We begin trying to decipher what the different items were based on the visible ingredients. This whole process has now taken about 10 minutes. There was three employees behind the counter that all looked at us as if we bothered them for entering into the restaurant. I began to cautiously ask questions about he food, because there were no labels. One of the three employees was a young lady that was totally not trained on what food items were or even any basic customer service standards. The most I got out of her were a couple "I don't know's" and shoulder shrugs. I wished my wife and I had a better experience here, because we are looking for a great vegan option to frequent. Hopefully, they get this right!

The most tasty vegan food. The food is good, the service is good. The menu items are a little pricey. I have tried nice popular vegan spots in the city such as: Equinox restaurant which is pricey and has some yummy options, Nu Vegan, as well as Farewell, and Sticky fingers … the list goes on and on but have not tried a place that tops Elife yet!
