We found Kramers to have the best priced tea tower in town. The actual tea was delicious. Some of the bread was stale/crusty because I would assume the sandwiches are pre-made. I have found this at Lilies Victorian in NYC as well. The fresh warm scones were the star of the show with the clotted cream and lemon curd. Does the tea tower menu ever change?

Crispy Brussel Sprouts were perfect. Large platter for sharing. Mac and Cheese side was tasty. Pot Pie must have been made by my mother! It was full of veggies, large pieces of chicken . It was delicious. Will return when we're back in DC.

Definitely a place for younger folks as might be expected by its location in Dupont circle. My lower scores reflect my (older) age and might be shared by those half my age. As most know, Kramers started out as a bookstore which is attached to the eatery.
