This is the breakfast restaurant off the lobby of the Renaissance Hotel on 9th St in Downtown DC. Breakfast Buffet is $26 and eggs with 2 sides $19 plus tax and gratuity so breakfast will cost upwards of $30-$35pp. Costly but tasty with your own coffee carafe. USA Today and the Wall Street Journal available to diners.
Ate here for breakfast business meeting at the hotel. Spacious enough so that there was no waiting to be seated and no problem accommodating our group of 7. Service was prompt and quiet friendly. Be sure to flip the pages on the menu. Lots of choices. I had the egg white frittata with spinach and salmon. Delicious. Good coffee. A bit pricey but not any more than you might expect at a hotel restaurant.
While staying at the DC Renaissance we came here for breakfast and really enjoyed it! They have a nice selection of breakfast items placed throughout, so as not to create lines when busy, and the morning we went, it was rather busy, but we didn’t wait at all. Their omelet station was excellent and the chef… This guy (I wish I would have gotten his name to give him a well-deserved shoutout!) offered the best service we’ve ever gotten at a breakfast buffet omelet station....
