Visited last night. Blue haired bartender was running front of house solo, so everything was extremely slow. She did a great job, but she was handling all orders for 20+ customers. Then they were out of all beef, so half the menu was unavailable. After an hour, i realized there were two other people working front of house but doing almost nothing. My chicken sandwich came out and the bun was burnt black on both sides, come on, don’t send it out like that! The chicken thigh was also 50% breading that tasted good, except it was also over cooked, so the sandwich mostly tasted… burnt. My friends promise me the sandwiches are incredible, but they were barely half full on a Friday evening and i was very unimpressed. Would not return.
Why is this labeled a sports bar? I came in and was surprised to see it was anything but
I ordered thee knuckle sandwich, later they beat me and gave me the check, later found out it costed 60 plus tax AND INTEREST?? Amazing
Best Club Sandwich and great vibes!
My friend got their fried chicken sandwich and it was over-cooked and the meat didn’t look fresh inside. He ate it anyway and had a stomach issues afterwards. Then a few hours later he got food poisoning. We should have known something was up when they said they were out of all vegetable options and should have left after a beer. Beware of the food here! Service was decent though.
Wow (and not in a good way)! Took a colleague to lunch having heard great things. We ordered chicken sandwiches and a basket of fries only to have the chicken come to the table still raw and the fries cold! When the plates were returned, the chicken was now burnt to a crisp and nearly inedible. Service was incredibly slow despite a nearly empty lunch bar and tables and the bathroom reminded me of a college frat house. $60+ for 2 for lunch too! Outrageous!

This is not a sports bar by any means. Do not recommend for pre sports game drinking.

One of the best sandwich shops in the District! Huge sandwiches- get the Fight Club (my favorite), the burger or the fried chicken. And the Primanti and tots- basically everything I've had is delicious! Happy hour is a great deal as well.

Some items I tried to order on the menu, bartender said they were out of, so settled on a wedge salad. My friend had a standard burger and fries which were good. Wedge salad was decent. Every time I asked them (bartender, greenish/blue hair) for anything, they acted sort of like they were not happy, moreso sort of like they hated being there, kind of as if they wanted to do the bare minimum/everything was too much trouble. I'm sorry for them, but I am always nice to servers l, no matter what. (I did that job for many years.)
There were two men also working there, both of whom had contrastingly good attitudes. They both saved my experience there (thank you, gentlemen!) Because of these two nice and helpful people, I will be back to try some more food on the menu. Hopefully they won't be out of stuff again.

Great neighborhood spot with incredibly solid sandwiches and very fast service. One of the best fried chicken sandwiches I've ever had.

We were just wandering around Eastern Market and stumbled onto this place. There is a different vibe going on here that is enjoyable. The menu is kinda cool. It was not busy while we visited. Bria was our server, and she had an AWESOME and exciting attitude. She never seemed to grumble or pout and always had a smile. Music and food were great.
