The service here is UNMATCHED. I've never been to a restaurant that, despite being so crowded, make me feel like i was the most important guest. Their food is amazing as well and tastes homemade. Wine is fantastic, bread is fantastic... just overall amazing experience. We will be back as it's our new favorite! :)

Wonderful food and many options. We loved that even though the restaurant was very busy on a Friday night, we did not feel rushed at all. It was wonderful to see that even on such a busy night, the ambience remained relaxed, and we never felt rushed. It was refreshing to have the waiter give us the space we needed without making us feel anxious. The menu was extensive, and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious, from the appetizers to the entrees, desserts, and even the wine. Each dish was a treat, and we appreciated the variety and quality of the offerings.

We had a fantastic waiter-Tony Soprano! He made excellent suggestions and was so friendly!

We made reservations on a friends recommendations and it did not disappoint! Cocktails and wine were fabulous! The meatball and sausage appetizer were delicious! The chicken parm and CANNELLONI SCAMPI di MARE were amazing! Loved the offer of amaretto or sambuca after dinner! What a great touch! The tiramisu was outstanding! We will be back for sure! What a great place!!

I can remember our servers name - however he was so much fun! He was from just south of Rome and he was professional, attentive, funny, and he had beautiful eyes! lol. Food was amazing and I went there each week for the last two weeks. I've found my new favorite Italian!!!

Once again, a remarkable meal and experience. The veal chop, lobster ravioli and cheesecake just phenomenal. Paired with a nice bottle of Italian Pinot Noir…..just amazing

This place is pure magic, especially if you love classic Italian done right. The food is incredible across the board. Rich, comforting, perfectly executed dishes that feel both indulgent and timeless.

A heads-up for planning: during the holidays, reservations can book 60–90 days in advance, so plan early. That said, if you’re feeling spontaneous, you can often walk in and enjoy a fantastic meal at the bar, which is an experience in itself.

The service is just as memorable as the food. Dino and the entire staff made our evening truly special, warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. You can tell they care deeply about the experience they create for their guests.

Filomena isn’t just dinner, it’s an event. A night to remember, and a place we’ll return to every time we’re in DC. 🇮🇹🍝✨
