Always love Filomena. Excellent food and service. I had the lobster ravioli and hubby had the chicken saltimbocca for entrees. Apps included Caesar salad and antipasto. Every time we visit Washington DC we make sure to visit our favorite restaurant, Filomena and see our favorite waiters, Maurizio and Abdul.

I've lived in DC for over 30 years and Filomena is a consistent destination for authentic Italian cuisine. Now, if you're not a fan of a LOUD and bustling dining room, this is NOT the place for you. On ANY given night, at least 5-6 people will be celebrating their birthdays and you will hear the waiters robustly belt out happy birthday in song followed by the whole dining room clapping....sigh...my kind of place! Always warm, feels like a gigantic family gathering. Okay...I...
