Been looking for quality Italian bread since I got back from Italy. By chance walked by this place and saw a sign for Italian bread and the loaf was huge. Well it was fresh and delicious. Had to buy 2 when I returned. I tried their chocolate pastry and they use a better chocolate than most places that make chocolate croissants. The owner and staff were very nice. And bonus is that they hire Filipino staff including the baker. My kababayans!!
Everything was good except for their cookies. I bought a pound of tollhouse chocolate chip cookies and they were undercooked. And I don’t mean just by a little, the entire inside of the cookie was raw dough. I spent $12 for cookies that I couldn’t eat.
We tried this place for the first time and were pretty underwhelmed. We tried the French apple pie, mixed berry pie and a brownie. The pies were okay, tasted a bit like store bought pie. The brownie was good! It has a nice flavor and texture. We would get the brownie again if we were there, but wouldn’t get the pies again.
