Cafeteria style hotel restaurant. Definitely do not need reservations, order at counter or QR code. Slow service. Food was fine. Cute bar area but not worth another trip back
Our family ate here on New Year's Eve and we had a great time. Andre was our waiter and he was great. Everything we ordered was well received. We would definitely visit this restaurant again if we are in DC again.
This is a high-end cafeteria type restaurant inside of a hotel. The prices were VERY high for the quality and ambiance. The restaurant was empty while we were there for lunch and the servers got 2 of the 4 items we ordered quite wrong, although the manager worked hard to get the order corrected and amounts refunded/credited.
Pretty packed for the night and they struggled to keep up service, but food was pretty good and the bar was solid. They also did not have my reservation in the system
Was trying to find as closest as possible place to National Theatre. This place is new and it was not as obviously visible from the street but otherwise we enjoyed it. The brisket sandwich was delicious. Our service was fast and attentive by Andrew.
This is a counter service restaurant with full bar inside the Marriott Hotel. The service was great but it wasn't what I was expecting from the Yelp search and photos. It is connected to the lobby so very much feels like a hotel experience and not a dining one.
We were greeted but never served, the place was completely empty...to be fair I don't think this place is actually open. I hope when they get it together and actually open I can go back and taste the food?!?!
10/10 gherkins but the rest was mid?
Crummy and depressing hotel restaurant with microwave menu and service put to shame by a prison cafeteria.

Very surprised that Marriott would have this in their hotel. It looks like an old conference room they turned into a night club/restaurant. The music was so loud we were screaming at each other & never saw the server. If you get in late, opt for room service or Uber eats.

I stayed at the Marriott at Metro last week (Aug. 25-27). Fire and Sage is the restaurant inside the hotel. It was somewhat late when I arrived, so I decided to get a bite to eat. The restaurant was not busy but the server that seated me was also the bartender. I paid $30.00 for 6 wings, fries, and an iced tea. The sauce on the wings was very unpleasing. It tasted like it was poured directly from the bottle. That may not be necessarily bad if the sauce is good. This sauce was not. My biggest complaint was I never had another interaction with my server. No would you like a refill of tea or can I get you your bill. I almost decided to not leave a tip but did afterward. Total spent was $35.00, never again.

Came to have breakfast and no one was there to sit us or serve us so we left after 10 minutes of waiting - - we saw other people seated and eating so they were open.
