Fish in the Neighborhood

Went by there 5:15 Saturday. Door locked and chained. Disappointed 😞

Horrible I ordered food on my 30 min. lunch break went to this place no fish i ordered or food prepared. Then it took me over 15 minutes in travels to leave empty handed and this WAS MY FIRST & ONLY TIME I'LL TRY TO PATRONIZE A BLACK OWN RESTAURANT. THEN THE OWNER IS JUST AS BAD AS HIS STAFF NO ACCOUNTABILITY FOR THEM NOT INFORMING ME WHAT I ORDERED WASN'T THERE. NOT MAKE ME COME TO TRY TO PERSUADE ME TO EAT SOMETHING DIFFERENT THEN WHAT I WANTED TO EAT.

Don't expect anything fancy, but you can get good fresh fish and seafood and some selected sides. If you go late in the day before they close, they may not have any desserts. But the food was fried perfectly it's so crispy and crunchy. I hope that you can buy it and eat it immediately.It's really good.

The food is always great and I love love love the mango tarter sauce like no other pairs very well with the fish love Bill he is always great always smiling no matter what.

Customer service was exceptionally attentive, as this was my first visit. All staff members provided clear explanations, ensuring my understanding. Each item is sold separately, so for a 1Lbs is $12.99, that’s two pieces. The whiting Fish was exceptionally large, and I highly recommend it, rating it 10/10. I also ordered macaroni and cheese and collard greens, collared greens which received a 5/5 rating. While they are slightly pricey, all sides prices range from $5.50 to $6.00. I plan to return to this establishment.

Neighbors, next time you walk past an ATM, make sure you take some cash out, because your tummy will thank you later. With cash in hand you can go visit this neighborhood treasure. I ordered a one lb black bass for myself with collar greens and hush puppies. Everything was fantastic and seasoned to perfection. If you have not graduated to eating whole fish yet, there are plenty of filet options. Looking forward to try other sides on my next visit!

Came down from Philly and our Airbnb was right behind this place on Otis.. but if you know me, you know I love me some fried fish, I had the flounder, catfish, 1/2 lb fried shrimp, Mac & cheese and candied yams it was 10/10 on everything.. and I asked for some lemon wedges and the owner gave me a whole lemon.. I’ll be back soon..

The crabcake was aweful!!!! $22 no sides. I ate it with a spoon.😡

Excellent food and great service. The only downside is that it doesn't have apple pay or a credit card machine.

The owner is a very nice guy. I love How everything is always hot and fresh! This is the only place that my 5 year old daughter will eat shrimp from.!

Kid-friendliness: My 5 year is a very picky eater However, she loves getting fried shrimp, she won’t eat them from anywhere else.

I didn't go and get my food my son daughter in law and Gson went and picked up my food it was awful I must have gotten the bad batch of mac and cheese that taste like someone stirred in yam juice and breaded catfish never again I love mac and cheese and catfish two thumbs down ?? Sorry your mac and cheese and catfish is not GOOD TO ME ok ppl here's a update my 14 year old Gson came in from school today and i save him the mac and cheese and he said thanks Gma its REALLY GOOD I like it is there anymore SO THERE Y'ALL HAVE IT WHAT I DIDN'T LIKE MY GSON ENJOYED I asked him how many thumbs up he said two ? ?

Food was finger licking good. Only thing I didn't like was the flies surrounding the establishment. I wanted to eat on the patio but the pest would not let me be great.

The food is FRESH AND SO CLEAN! This family takes their time to prepare whatever you ask for and it’s cooked through and through!! I LOVE the Salmon and coming from Frederick Maryland on a Friday holiday weekend just to purchase the FINEST SALMON, was definitely worth the drive. Bill and his Beautiful Wife care about what they put in the neighbors stomach, that’s why the food is MAGNIFICENT! Blackened Blackened Salmon is my favorite meal and it’s cooked to perfection, served with LOVE!!!
