Fish in the Neighborhood

Fresh fish to go or cooked to order!! They also have seafood other than fish, sides, cold drinks and desserts. Friendly owner (Bill) and great conversations to be had with neighbors who are also waiting for their fresh cooked orders. I try to go at least once per month. Everything is sold a la carte and the fish is priced by the pound. CASH ONLY ESTABLISHMENT.

Spent 80 dollars order snapper head on with Mac an greens an whitening 1lb of shrimp we definitely didnt get a pound I got 2 coleslaw an idk fish and fries to much money to be messing up Like dat

The food here is always made fresh to order so you have to be patient, but it’s worth it! I’ve tried several items on the menu and nothing disappoints, today I had broiled catfish seasoned with Old Bay and french fries! Soooo good:) Best seafood in the city!

Does anyone know when they are actually open? It’s open sometimes like once a month or sometimes 3months from now. The online hours are always inaccurate.

Went there today got a fish Sandmich price $15 and some change 2 pieces of fish they weigh there fish taste wasn't so great but I was HUNGRY next time I'll just stick to LUCAS

Horrible I ordered food on my 30 min. lunch break went to this place no fish i ordered or food prepared. Then it took me over 15 minutes in travels to leave empty handed and this WAS MY FIRST & ONLY TIME I'LL TRY TO PATRONIZE A BLACK OWN RESTAURANT. THEN THE OWNER IS JUST AS BAD AS HIS STAFF NO ACCOUNTABILITY FOR THEM NOT INFORMING ME WHAT I ORDERED WASN'T THERE. NOT MAKE ME COME TO TRY TO PERSUADE ME TO EAT SOMETHING DIFFERENT THEN WHAT I WANTED TO EAT.

Don't expect anything fancy, but you can get good fresh fish and seafood and some selected sides. If you go late in the day before they close, they may not have any desserts. But the food was fried perfectly it's so crispy and crunchy. I hope that you can buy it and eat it immediately.It's really good.

The food is always great and I love love love the mango tarter sauce like no other pairs very well with the fish love Bill he is always great always smiling no matter what.

Customer service was exceptionally attentive, as this was my first visit. All staff members provided clear explanations, ensuring my understanding. Each item is sold separately, so for a 1Lbs is $12.99, that’s two pieces. The whiting Fish was exceptionally large, and I highly recommend it, rating it 10/10. I also ordered macaroni and cheese and collard greens, collared greens which received a 5/5 rating. While they are slightly pricey, all sides prices range from $5.50 to $6.00. I plan to return to this establishment.

Neighbors, next time you walk past an ATM, make sure you take some cash out, because your tummy will thank you later. With cash in hand you can go visit this neighborhood treasure. I ordered a one lb black bass for myself with collar greens and hush puppies. Everything was fantastic and seasoned to perfection. If you have not graduated to eating whole fish yet, there are plenty of filet options. Looking forward to try other sides on my next visit!
