Corn pudding was VERY rich - I could not finish it all. Collards were well seasoned, but if you like heat, you may want to add hot sauce. I ordered ahead online and was ready exactly when it said it would be, and the coating stayed crispy even in the takeout box. This is a great Friday fish option for Lent!

OMG! Idk what took me so long to try this place! The flavors, sandwich options, and fried potatoes will bring me back. Love the BO business. I love that they care about their food. They serve quality fish. FRESH fish! Wild-caught so the fish options may vary but, that's a good thing. My kid had the Mahi-Mahi fish burger. She loved it! A thick filling piece of fish fried to perfection (they also offer a light pan search option) in avocado oil. I had the blue catfish cheese steak sandwich and it did not disappoint. The mambo sauce, an option for ur fried potatoes and burger is some of the best mambo sauce I've had in a while. Will be back!!

We came from out of town, about 10-15 mins before closing and the staff was still so warm and welcoming. 10/10 for customer service. The food came out so good and fresh! I got the crab sandwich with aioli and it was great. The fries and mumbo sauce was great tooo. Delish food

Stopped by today while dropping my daughter back off to college and this place did not disappoint. I wanted some seafood and googled places near me. Fish scale popped up and the menu looked plentiful. We ate indoors and the atmosphere was relaxing and the food was amazing. We got 2 crab sandwich’s and mahi mahi sandwiches with fries. It definitely was made with love. Juicy, real lump crab, meal was fresh and hot. And the customer service was stellar. I definitely will come back once in town.

Hands down my favorite place I ate during my vacation to DC! I got the blue crab burger and it was UNREAL. I recommend topping it with the sunflower yogurt slaw which was the perfect accompaniment. My partner got the catfish and smashed potatoes which he absolutely loved as well. Incredible food and super nice staff, loved this place!
