Really wish I could give this place a better rating! The people running the place were so nice and friendly — and it’s a great local establishment.Our rockfish sandwich was fine — but we had two catfish sandwiches, and the breading on both was just too salty. Maybe we got a bad batch, so I’m willing to give the place a second try!

I hate that I have to write this because the food is SO good, but I definitely suggest steering away from online ordering.I used the “order directly from shop” feature on Google bc I figured it’ll save them from the fees via 3rd party apps.. The restaurant claims they didn’t even receive the order until 15 minutes after it was placed ; when I arrived (almost 20 minutes AFTER placing order) I was told that it’ll take 40 minutes to get my food…. It’s been almost an hour now & the food is still not ready. I’ve been here a handful of times & although the food is so good, I’ve never had a seamless experience.
Was in town visiting, gabbed a bit before a show. This place is a FULL VIBE! Music on Point! Service was impeccable! The fish was a nice clean think cut, fried to perfection! Also those potatoes simple but done ALL the way CORRECT! Will definitely be back next time in town!

Crystal and her brother cook delicious, slightly elevated but not pretentious, affordable food that's healthful and honestly a delight. I also really appreciate the chance to support a Black-owned local business. Definitely go, get the MD blue crab with brussel sprouts in curry sauce, the rockfish, and the fried rice with mumbo sauce!

Everything was fabulous. Rockfish with curry, spicy jerk fish Philly cheese steak, crab cakes, fish and chips, and fried rice. Well prepared and nice staff that delivered 4 meals simultaneously by one chef.
