Was great service met the owner gave him my number he helped me have a good time away from home will be back for the fun times in the side
The food was phenomenal!!!! Best rotisserie chicken I've ever had!! The staff was friendly and made it a great evening for all of us. Sarah made us feel right at home.
Intimate upscale bar with a small bites menu and access to the menu from 1789 next door. Great cocktail selection served by an excellent staff. Definitely recommended.
There's no place like home, but, if you cannot be home, then there's Fitzgerald's. A delightful, innovative Japanese-inspired Cherry Blossom martini was the highlight for me! Exceptional service and a smart bartender topped the early evening - but miss F Scott's (showing my age).
Vibe was great but pretty disgusting to eat apples cut with the same knife used to cut onions.
So, how does 5 stars for food, service, and atmosphere add up to 3 Stars? Simple. A delicious Filet and lobster for $72.00 was maybe 4 oz of beef, half a claws of lobster meat plus a bit of tail meat, 2 carrots! It sucks that such a well presented and tasty meal had me looking for a burger on the way home. Cheese board had 8 large slices of cheese, a wedge of apple surgically sliced thin, and 4 pieces of a baguette. Hey Chef....the sauce on the filet was fantastic....how bout a damn potato to sop up what is drowning the plate? A little drawn butter for a whole freaking lobster tail would have been nice also but there WASN'T A WHOLE TAIL you cheap bastard.
Overall great ambiance! Service was slightly slow and the food was decent. Complete mismatch when it comes to the high end decor/vibe but the bar/diner style food. It's an upscale take, but nonetheless it's lowers the experience for me.
This restaurant was quiet and the service staff and food were great. The music was soft and romantic. The menu was limited but you could order from the 1789 menu. Beer selection was poor, but a wide variety of mixed drinks.
The restaurant itself is beautiful, cozy, and relaxing. Very easy to locate even at night. We were seated quickly and our waitress was very present, we never had to look for her or ask for assistance.
The ambiance and decoration were fantastic. The food was great too. It was a set menu for restaurant week but the duck was spectacular and the desert looked like it came out of a food network show.

The cocktails were excellent, and the atmosphere was truly delightful. The live music was enjoyable, and the band played very well. The service was top-notch, and the food was not bad. Overall, a great find!
Absolutely a gem! My new favorite place. Top of the line staff. It's a beautiful relaxed intimate atmosphere with stellar food and drinks and smooth live music away from the bussle of M Street. Great date place! Highly recommend the bouillabaise entree & bagnets for dessert!!

I would give this place 5 stars except for the ridiculous pricing of the wine at the end of the night. As a nightcap, we ordered two glasses of House Chardonnay, which ended up being $28 dollars a glass! We were totally shocked when we saw the blll and felt entirely ripped off. We loved the musician and the dinner service was excellent, but that was our first and last time at Fitzgerald ‘s after experiencing the absurd wine prices.

Great ambience but food quality is a bit checkered. I dined there 2x in the same week - during the first round everything was delectable but the second time some things were rushed. The fabled tuna crudo for example was not fresh the second time around.
