I visited Five Guys at 2490 Market St NE, Washington, DC 20018, on June 19, 2025, and was extremely disappointed. The staff exhibited a nasty attitude, with one employee handling fries cursing loudly in front of families and small children. The atmosphere felt hostile and unfriendly. Requests were met with eye rolls and curt responses, ruining what should have been a casual meal. Cleanliness seemed secondary as tension hung in the air. I cannot recommend this location based on the rude behavior and lack of consideration. I expected better customer service. One star: please avoid unless improvements are made promptly.

Costumer service is terrible the employees made a burger without pattys and when I asked about them not putting the patty they said I was rude about asking the question.one employee of asked my friend what was wrong with his they have forgotten the adds on and gave side remark about us bringing the issue to them very disappointed on costumer service even when they remade the burger they still forgot about the adds ons

For what I paid total disappointment!! Fries were undercooked and saturated in grease I didn’t even eat them! A complete waste of money and my time driving all the way there to get garbage!

This location has great service and a very friendly and helpful staff. It's five guys so by now you know what to expect regarding the taste and recipe. Over priced burgers and everything ala carte. At least you always get a lot of fries. If you like five guys this is a good one as far as the staff goes. It's well ran and very clean.

Despite a previous disappointing experience at another location, the staff at this establishment completely turned my perception around.Upon entering, I was warmly greeted by a team of four dedicated individuals, three gentlemen and one young lady, whose names unfortunately slipped my mind but whose professionalism and helpfulness certainly did not. They went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional.The restaurant itself was immaculately clean, which immediately set a positive tone for my visit. It's clear that cleanliness and hygiene are top priorities for this establishment, which is always reassuring for customers.When it came to the food, I was thoroughly impressed. After explaining my previous negative encounter at a different location, the staff took extra care to ensure that my meal was not only fresh but also prepared with the utmost attention to detail. Each bite was a testament to the care and dedication put into crafting every item on the menu.Overall, my experience at Five Guys exceeded all expectations. From the helpful and friendly staff to the delicious, made-with-care food, every aspect of my visit was truly remarkable. Went to get a meal for myself, and the cashier is so full of energy and patient with me. Even while waiting, the cooks do try to chat with me. The food is good and cooked to order and delicious. Would love to come back again if this particular location wasn't so expensive; I'm guessing it was because we're in DC.
