Always loved Five Guys! From the establishment in Phoenix AZ to my hometown here in the DMV. This location was so welcoming. I wish I remembered the young ladies name that worked the late shift. She had dark long hair. Extremely friendly. All the staff were ?. Fries always hot and finger licking good.

The atmosphere of the staff was good.When I ordered fries, they were given to me at the same time as my order.I thought it was much faster than the store I usually go to, but as expected, the fries were a little cold.I ate it right after it was handed to me, so I was disappointed.I wish they would have served piping hot potatoes.

I came here craving some of the peanuts they're known for and they didn't have any out which was super tragic. I hope this was a case where they were just out of stock rather then not serving them anymore. But I got a cheese burger, fries, and soft drink which came out to $22 (which feels a bit expensive). The burger was really well cooked and the toppings made it taste really good. I love that they have malt vinegar for the fries, and appreciate that they always put an extra scoop of fries in the bag. I know it's a part of their strategy but I can't help but feel giddy.

The staff at the 808 H Street in China Town location are VERY nice, so this review is about the food. The peanut oil on the fries didn't taste fresh. I'm not saying it was rancid, but I question the quality and how many times it's been reused. I ordered a burger but when I got home, I found a LONG HAIR in my burger. Yuck!!!!! I threw away the burger so THAT WAS MONEY LOST. The Five Guys that closed on 19th & M St. seemed to have better food. Not sure why Five Guys corporate closed it, but I won't be going back to this location.

As far as fast food hamburger places go Five Guys in my opinion is one of the best. Hot juicy real beef burgers with all the toppings. Oh and the cajun fries are awesome!
