Don't listen to @Conrad it's clear this person has no taste because they think that Dave's hot chicken, that charges $15 for a slider and fries and no drink gets a five-star rating when the small family-owned business that prepares your food fresh, every time is only a two.

Listen this place is very small and it seems to be family owned and operated so please leave the typical DC pretentious impatient attitude at the door. Your food is going to take time & you’ll be waiting a little bit for a table, but the service & food are worth the wait. They’re doing their best. We had the churro French toast which was a bit more bread pudding texture, but the flavor was there & I actually really like bread pudding so it worked out. Also had the chorizo burrito which was really good! The homemade lemonade was fantastic. All in all I’d come back again no question. Could there be some improvements, sure, but not a lot you can do with such a small space. Reminder that everyone is suffering in the labor/restaurant industry.

French toast was in a pool of syrup and cost $22. Bananas were soaked in rum as part of their “special” but they didn’t taste great nor were they special enough to charge me double. Scrambled eggs were soupy.

This small local diner is delicious. The staff is very friendly, the plates are prepared at the moment so it is always fresh. The food has a good homemade taste.

Had a great time in this diner. Very friendly service, yummy food although of course not the worlds healthiest type of food. You may have to wait a bit to find a place but the amount of food is good and the price is ok. Happy to return.

Food is amazing and so fresh! We visited twice because it was just that delicious. I wish I took pictures. We had French Toast w vanilla cream cheese ?, Churizo Burrito- OMG! and Argentinian steak & eggs. Definitely making it our spot whenever we visit DC!

Very courteous staff. Especially from the server to the cook who ventured out of the kitchen for a few seconds and spoke politely. Constantly looking to see if I needed anything else or if I was ok. The food was outstanding. I mean the home fries were cooked nicely and very tasty. I hope to visit the place again soon. It was just a really great little place. I almost walked by it and went to IHOP but glad I didn't. IHOP can't compare to their food. It's very tasty. It was also my first time there.. Definitely a spot I could invite friends to go to eat. Breakfast All Day which I love...Thumbs up to this place.?

We went their for breakfast. We ordered smashed avocado and veggie omelette, food was good.Service is late - at that time only two table are occupied that timePrice- on menu smashed avocado is priced as 12.99$ but they charged $15.99. Server said their price has been raised. They didn’t inform before nor at the time of billing. Even they charged for $1.99 for cheese in omelette when it says it is includedMake sure you check the price before ordering.

Can be a wait as the space is small but it's worth it. Everything was amazing. The service was polite attentive and friendly. The food was made with fresh delicious ingredients. The sauce was perfect. The mint strawberry lemonade was so good I got one to go also for the walk home. Will be going back, often!

Only giving a 1 star because the food was good. Our server was more concerned with chatting and filling coffee mugs instead of taking our order. Bringing out 1 plate at a time and very disorganized in general. She was not the only one on the front end. 1 person would appear then disappear. We were told to wait to give our order because she had to take an order from another table, BUT we watched her for 15 min fill coffee and be in the kitchen. No straw, no syrup.. we could go on.Not in a hurry to go back.

Had an overall good experience today ar this family run diner. We had the churro French toast and Spanish breakfast. The churro French toast was amazing! The Spanish breakfast was good and the beans were exceptional. For drinks we got the strawberry limeade and horchata, both didn't disappoint. The location is small so it gets full quick. I would call ahead to check wait time. We did manage to squeeze our stroller in but I would advise against bringing one in and the bathrooms don't have a changing a table. Finally this was communicated to us but be mindful they don't provide tap water just bottled.

Incredible food that is more than worth the wait. This place truly makes their food to order, so it does take some time, but it's worth it! We had the horchata french toast (awesome) and the chorizo breakfast burrito (best breakfast burrito I've ever had). If you're in a hurry, you better call ahead, but if not, then sit down, relax, and enjoy.

This was our local/regular spot for my wife and I, when we lived in DC. I had to go back to give it the 5 stars it deserves. The best diner in DC, and the family owners are the best.
