Food is consistently delicious and relatively healthy - particularly for the Howard University crowd that frequents the establishment which is across the street from McDonald’s. That said, I’m older (78) and don’t live around the corner. But I keep coming back (eight years and counting). I go for the chicken and salmon salads.

Vegetarian options: Lots of veggies, but the fresh salad is the bomb!

Parking: I park in the McDonald’s lot...

My company reassigned me to a project nearby. My first thought was that i get to eat here again! I'm so happy. Only place in DC where you can get lunch for about $7 and the food still tastes homemade. God bless this place!

They need support during the pandemic. Support this excellent, amazing high quality food and hardworking owner. So sad that Covid is crushing the folks who are working so hard to make it in America. , and had achieved stability before Covid. I LOVE this food and respect the owner of this resteraunt.
