$13 for a small coffee is egregious, when are we gonna start fighting back?
I was walking toward the Navy Yard metro when I saw an advertisement for a gingerbread chai latte. I LOVE chai lattes and was in need of a drink after having finished participating in the #FITDC5K race, so I stopped by.
The place is cute and very small but there is some seating available if you want to relax for a little.
I proceeded to order the latte. The price somewhat shocked me considering at other local shops I'd get a lot more (size wise) for $8.55. What in the gentrified mess is this?! The drink was basic -- didn't have much flavor, and not even hot. I was so disappointed because not only did it not taste good but I spent almost $10 for it.

Adam and Emil are always smiling and it shows in their brew. Come here if you don’t know what you want and need kind guidance.
For five is definitely on the pricier side… $8 for a standard iced latte BUT the baristas at this location are always so so friendly and the drinks are never not good, so it balances out
No toilets and no inside seating
Such a shame since it’s so conveniently located for me but consistently some of the worst and most expensive breakfast food.

Got a vanilla ice latte w oat milk, and a fruity pebble sugar cookie. The latte was delicious per usual and the cookie was so moist and delicious! I always enjoy For Five.

not one single vegan option. laughably overpriced even by Navy Yard standards.
Stopped by this location for a quick breakfast. Keep in mind this is a chain and each location’s offers different menu items. Ordered 2 breakfast sandwiches and 2 coffees. Total was around $40. The coffees were good but the sandwiches were cooked in a toaster oven and were ice cold in the center. Concerned to eat cold eggs and bacon on a sandwich we asked for it to be reheated. They heated it again and it was still cold. Asked for a refund and was advised they could only give us a gift card or pastries. We opted for the pastries since today is our last day in town. The pastries were also lackluster and were given to a homeless person on the street. Would’ve much preferred the refund. May try and dispute the charge with my credit card company at this point. Would avoid this location unless you’re solely getting coffee.

Very cute coffee shop. Excellent coffee and they’re very quick. I got the Gotham Mocha and it’s like hot coco and coffee put together. My husband got a vanilla iced coffee and loved it as well.
