I've eaten here twice. The food is fantastic and authentic. They even have kheer that's supposed to taste like one (I've been looking for it for years at various Indian restaurants around here). The service is friendly and fast. I'm a huge fan!

I ordered delivery, so service and atmosphere do not apply. Love their food! It’s Punjabi food made by Punjabi people, if I recall from my one and only in house dining experience. Delivery was very quick. Particularly appreciated that they did not include plastic utensils, because so many restaurants do even when I specifically say not to! Loved that they put in a tiny cup of sauce for the samosas (that sauce is delicious but you don’t need much, so again preventing waste!!). My only request is to put a little more description on the delivery menu. I had to do some googling to discover which word meant “mint” so I got the right paratha.

Great flavors and friendly atmosphere. While service was a bit slow, they waited upon us with love for the food and its flavors. Chicken Vindaloo was rich, spicy and outstanding.

AMAZING experience!! Omar was our server (and owner and bartender!) and was SO great in telling us about our choices. We LOVED everything we had. It was authentic and cooked perfectly. We started with margaritas - one spicy, one not. Highly recommend both!! He uses only natural ingredients. We had somosa chaat, garlic naan, goat curry and butter chicken. Goat curry can be hit or miss - goat meat is hard to cook properly to get that tenderness- they have it down pat!!! The chicken was also so tender and well flavored!! Probably some of the best Indian food we’ve had! Ended with the kheer rice pudding. I can’t wait to come back to DC to visit this resturant again. You won’t be disappointed!!! Thanks Omar!!

I visited with some colleagues after a long day at a conference. We shared many dishes and loved them all - the lamb samosas and the makhani fries were great. The paneer palak (I thought it was saag, but the online menu makes me think I'm misremembering) was spectacular. The best I've ever had - complex and well-balanced. The incredibly kind servers didn't rush us out at the end of the night; we had such a nice time that we didn't realize we'd stayed past closing. Sorry, staff!
