The pastrami grilled cheese was good but they were very stingy on the meat. Cool looking atmosphere but pretty cold temperature wise. The folks working seemed like really nice people.

I returned to GCDC after several years and it didn't live up to my memory. The bread, although advertised as sourdough, tasted stale and plain. The ingredients inside the bread were similarly cheap and underwhelming. I remembered this place being much better, but I guess I was a dumb college student. I will endeavor to find melted cheese sandwiches elsewhere.

Great atmosphere and vibe, Roscoe at the counter was super kind, funny and pleasant- really helped my day start off right! While the portions are on the smaller side, it was still a great grilled cheese!!
