I’d recommend this place just based on the food itself. I had calamari and a regular lobster roll with sweet potato fries and it was delicious!But the staff is what made Georgetown Seafood special. Right when we walked in (out of a huge rainstorm), a staff member put a towel by the door for us to place our umbrellas on while another staff member immediately found us a table to seat our big group. They took the time to make us feel like VIPs, even down to the extra treats they offered to us after our meal!The place is small, has steep/narrow stairs to the upper level (where the bathroom is located), but even with that I would 100% eat here again and again.Thanks Georgetown Seafood for a wonderful experience!!

Stopped by Georgetown Seafood because I wanted some lobster rolls. Very cute little spot in Georgetown, not too busy and they had seats upstairs. The staff were extremely friendly and so patient with us and our questions. Get the Maine Lobster Roll - warmed. It is so good! Husband got the combo with hush puppies, he loved those whereas I got the fries. No complains, we enjoyed everything and left very happy!I would definitely come back next time!

Absolutely worth all the 5 star reviews. We were really happy that we gave this place a try. We ordered crab cakes, lobster roll, calamari and chowder soup. Every dish met beyond our expectations and crab cakes had 95% crab meat and only 5 % filler. Fresh seafood. Definitely would come again when we are in town next. Awesome service and friendly lady managers.

Excellent food and very friendly service! The Maine lobster roll is actually made with fresh lobster and is outstanding! The hush puppies are excellent, too. Cute and clean atmosphere with lots of menu options.

Awesome, homey place to grab a bite. Seriously the best service in DC, thank you so much for your hospitality! We tried the Oyster Po-boy and it was awesome. Their sauce is great and the hush puppies are awesome.

This was the best lobster roll I have ever had! The Connecticut lobster roll and hush puppies were delicious. The sauce for the hush puppies was phenomenal! Ny was so welcoming and we couldn’t be happier with the food or experience.

I was so excited to try this place bc of the high reviews. I could tell the food was going to be good bc it was very busy. After placing my order, the lady said it would take about 15 minutes for the crab cake and if I wanted all the food to come out at the same time (1 Maine lobster mayo roll) to which I replied no.My lobster bisque came out within 5 min. The people I was sitting with at and left, yet I was still waiting and waiting and waiting. 2 different times the servers came back to ask what I ordered, despite my table number being displayed. The breaking point was watching people who ordered well after me getting their apps and entrees. I asked for my money back (which was granted) and left. My daughter was highly upset and irritable as she was excited for the lobster roll. The manager was understanding and was handling everything exceptionally well, given they were busy, but its a shame bc I was really looking forward to ending one of my last nights enjoying the local cuisine.

First impression when I walked in almost made me walk out. Glad we didn't! The food was AMAZING! Manager came out and talked to us...she was so nice and told us a little about the business. Highly recommend the lobster roll, fish, shrimp and clam chowder.
We met Ny when we walked by who invited us to check out the menu. She told us the most popular dishes and it did NOT disappoint! Everything was delish and the original lobster roll was one of the BEST I’ve had in my entire life! Thanks Ny! My hubs and kids felt the same!
