Found plastic in my drink. I ordered a green milk tea with bubbles. My teeth hit something hard while I was chewing the bubbles, so I spit it out and it looks like plastic that might've accidentally been from the packaging.

Other than that, the person I ordered with was nice enough. The store was dead empty and quiet, so it took awhile for me to find someone to order from. Had to yell for a bit before someone came out. She sounded rushed and stressed, so maybe she was under pressure doing something in the back even though the store was empty. I don't know if I'll go here again, almost swallowing the plastic kind of grossed me out.

Gong Cha is one the best boba places in the US. Definitely recommend and don't forget to add star jelly to your drink!

Mango green tea with coconut jelly is sweet enough that you don't need any added sugar in the tea.

One tip! This place is underground down a set of stairs! Other than that it is simple to find! Their atmosphere is super friendly they have sitting tables Japanese style and a grass wall. Their boba drinks are really good! They are on the sweeter side and a good size!

It's a nice coffee shop. The bobas are a bit watered down for me, and I've gotten pretty bad stomach cramps from them, so I'm iffy about their safety + health standards. They have some board games here where you can relax with a friend, and the service is good. I also like the options of substituting boba for aloe jelly or another topping of your choice. The decor is pretty cute, and friendly, but wish it wasn't in the basement near a Chinese restaurant with a stinky cheese sort of smell.

Right beside the Farragut metro station, the location is located in the basement level (down a flight of stairs and beside a ramen shop). The store is always well air-conditioned and there are plenty of tables and a mat area to enjoy ones cup of bubble/boba tea. They also have a shelf of games with Heads Up, Uno, and Jenga. The drinks are made really fast and they have kiosks where one can order. They also have egg waffles and other desserts that I will try next time!

It's good but it's expensive for a chain! A medium milk tea with boba pearls is nearly $9 after $1 tip. I rarely come anymore because I can't justify the cost. :,(
