Good for groups of 2-4 this cozy boba spot is in the heart of Georgetown. You order through a touch screen and the service was prompt. The menu includes all the options you'd expect from milk teas to smoothies. Overall, a solid choice if you're in the area and craving a boba fix.

We've had Gong Cha before as it's a chain, but we love it! The Georgetown location is super cute, and there are digital kiosks to place your order. Love being able to see pictures of what I'm ordering and be able to easily customize! The service was super fast. We got the passion fruit green tea at 50% sugar (very sweet, recommend 30-50% sugar), and the taro coconut milk tea at 70% sugar. This was my first time trying the taro coconut and I definitely prefer the Taro by itself. I would recommend the milk teas at 100% sugar and fruit teas at 50%!

My boys are always excited to visit Gong Cha in Georgetown, DC for bubble tea. There’s so many options and their drinks are always refreshing and delicious!
Gong Cha is a solid boba spot if you find yourself in Georgetown in need of a tapioca fix! The store is beautiful! Very well decorated and Instagrammable - took my fair share of photos :) With a variety of flavors, Gong Cha really has any boba creation under the sun (including hot boba!). At this location I've tried the Taro and Creme Brulee Teas with Boba - both lightly sweet, strong on flavor, and had soft, chewy pearls. If needed, you can adjust sweetness, ice levels, etc. The service is very quick and friendly! Their staff makes quality drinks and does a great job with elaborate drinks/layered flavors. I will say it is a bit on the pricier side, but well worth the tasty, unique flavors and quality boba!

Reasonably priced boba tea. You come in & down the stairs to order on two electronic menu boards. They have a couple of table and chairs within the small establishment. The tea was delicious & will definitely hit them up again.

Black Pearl Milk Tea: 10/10 I love a good black milk tea, and Gong Cha did not disappoint. The sugar level was perfect without any modifications, and the flavor was great! The place is a small kind of grab and go shop with very little seating arrangements. I do wish they had more stools or areas to wait because when the limited seating they do have is full, standing around is the only option. Aside from that, I would definitely drop by again when walking around the georgetown area, or pop into another location

Best bubble tea in DC. I’ve had bubble tea at nearly all the DC and DMV locations, and this is by far the best I’ve had! You also have to try their waffle w/ ice cream.. amazing!!

got the thai tea with boba. the thai tea was really good. tasted like how thai tea usually tastes. i did 70% sweetness and i’m glad i did because it was still really sweet. only reason i am giving this 4 stars and not 5 is because the boba pearls were really small. also dense. pretty sure they needed to be cooked more. overal i recommend coming her for a good drink and really cute atmosphere. they had a christmas tree and cute light sign on the wall

Omg such a delicious drink. I got the Thai Tea with coconut jelly and absolutely LOVED it. I have never been a fan of the Boba pearls so was glad they gave other options. Anyway the drink was so good. The only thing is the drink is orange so if you spill things often like I did then it might get on your clothes. It will probably come off though with a wash. The atmosphere was very cozy and warm. Loved the Christmas tree decorations and gorgeous neon lights. I will return

I loved it! The boba pearls were different from what I was used to. I believe it wasn't cooked enough, but it was still very good. It was a very cute set up inside, very cozy, but a bit crowded as Georgetown tends to get!
